Made a Saturday evening reservation on OpenTable late Saturday afternoon and was warmly greeted upon our arrival. They acknowledged our 11th Anniversary and gave us a very nice window table. Service was very professional and friendly. Food was freshly prepared and perfect. Salad was cold, entrees were hot. Presentation was beautiful. We had YESIL SALATA: Arugula, watercress, feta, watermelon salad... More

The best Turkish restaurant I've visited outside of Istanbul. Great meze and a really nice selection of Turkish wines. Easy to reach by bus from Old Montreal and the big hotels.

This is the very first review I have ever written and it is because I really feel like I needed to express my disappointment with this restaurant. My husband and I just had dinner there after we went through the trouble of getting sitters for our kids, and it was not worth the effort or cost. Lets begin with the... More

Pros: 1. Turkish cuisine is not very commonly found in Montreal. The winners were the appetizer platter for 4 (fed 6 people) and our favorites were ISPANAKLI HAYDARI and especially, the ZEYTINYAĞLI ENGINAR. For mains, the eggplants KARNIYARIK stuffed with lamb, rack of lamb and la bombe - cream with bananas. 2. the service staff there were truly exceptional. Not... More

Popular place. Food is strictly Greek or Turkish. Suggest both an appetizer and main due to size. They have a bar as well.

A really excellent eating experience. If you like Turkish food, this is an excellent example of that genre. There is however just one negative and that is the service, We were a party of four and the restaurant was only about a quarter full. Regrettably, we had to wait nearly an hour before our food was served. We got the... More

All too often good food is spoiled by lousy service and this was one of those experiences. I have only eaten Turkish food once before at a sister restaurant which was excellent so I was really looking forward to the evening. The food was certainly interesting and full of taste. The dishes were creative and while we had 9 different... More

This lovely little Turkish restaurant is always full of people, and for good reason. It is not only the best restaurant in Verdun (in my opinion), it is also one of the top-rated restaurants in Montreal. The ambiance is very nice - it's small and intimate with beautiful mosaic tiles on the bar and colourful plates on the wall, and... More

Our expectations were not that high given so-so experiences with other Turkish food restaurants (which is a pity because Turkish food is fantastic). Our meals were mind- blowingly delicious. We all shared plates and everything on the menu is superb. HIGHLY recommend.

I enjoy eating here, the food is delicious, service is great and ambiance is comfortable. I believe this restaurant was in another location and has moved to Verdun, an area wich is developing and evolving... But still harsh on some edges... Moreover, I believe this restaurant would be a success and more pricey if the location was in downtown. I... More
