Nice place, nice staff, some excellent dishes, some average

For Mother's day, I wanted to eat at an Ouzeri as I love this type of food. The menu looked good so we tried it. The place is nice, lots of greek customers there, our waiter was super nice and they serve good brands of Retsina. As to the food, some very good dishes like the Gigantes and the... read more

Well, was there 10 years ago. I guess it was all downhill from there. I went there with my family. Taramosalata tasted like it came out of a Krinos jar. The fried bakaliaros (cod) was not cooked and got my gf nauseous. Skordalia, possibly came out of another Krinos pail...etc. kinda of insulting to Greek cuisine. Nothing was fresh. But... More

I have eaten at Milos down the street and had a wonderful high quality meal that was not inexpensive, My friends chose this one at the advice of a cab driver thinking it was more reasonable The food was mediocre at best and very overpriced I ordered seafood pasta for 39 dollars. There was very little seafood which included over... More

Decided to give Mythos another try. Well the restaurant is busy as usual but the food remained average at best. The price to quality is definitely not there, and not nearly as good as some smaller Greek restaurants in the area. Servicing was acceptable but not great either Overall if you want to go a well known restaurant it is... More

Ten close friends enjoyed a large variety of the menu items and enjoyed all that was offered. Definitely going back next visit.

Mythos gets a lot of great reviews so our visit was disappointing. We were a group of 4, love Greek cuisine, and none of us could rave about the food. The lamb was very fatty and the chicken was overcooked and dry. The best thing about the meal was the bread and black olive spread. Many of the items on... More

I have eaten at a lot of Greek restaurants, and this is the best meal I have had outside of Greece. The first bite took me straight back. I would highly recommend this restaurant for its quality and customer service. Not the cheapest, but worth the extra money!

Great wine and drink varieties, lots off classic Greek dishes to choose form. Homestyle cooking beautifully executed. Dolmades with avgolemno sauce, octopus salad and their fried zucchini are my favourite items. Good service, great atmosphere, live Greek music on weekends. A great spot to visit if you need a Greek fix.

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
