Description: There's a reason Forbes Magazine named us one of the Top 10 Steakhouses in the world. And why Moishes has become a Montreal favorite that has endured over 70 years. We think it's the authentic taste of each one of the old world favorites on our menu. If you're an old friend, welcome back. We're always delighted to see you. We couldn't have come this far without you. If you haven't yet, we warmly invite you to discover the taste for yourself, at our restaurant overlooking historic Saint-Laurent Boulevard (The Main.)

By far the BEST STEAK in the city. Great service. The owner Lenny is always very welcoming. Love the atmosphere and decor. A real Montreal institution!!! Un incontournable!

I had a 22oz rib eye steak Aug 5 while in Montreal with friends .. This steak was pure perfection ... Their famous cole slaw and pickles were equally as incredible ... If your in Montreal do yourself a huge favour and eat here ...

This place is an icon of the Montreal food scene. It has been opened for 75 years and still serving some of the very best meat in the city. Don't debate .. If you want a great steak with impeccable service in an old school kinda way then boom you got it!

The decor for me was so so. I like the inside of a steak house to have that old decor feeling. But I have to say the steak here was awesome!! It was huge and I ate it all could have ate another one. If your in montreal I say it's a must to try.

Not the best steak I've ever had. (Ruth's Chris in Indianapolis, Mortons, Cut in Beverly Hills). Cooked well, but just wasn't the top Rib Eye quality, in my opinion. Nice room. Generous pour of cocktails. Expensive. I was surprised by the number of men dressed in tee shirt, shorts and flip-flops. Really? This is the best you could do to... More

Ok, from the beginning. Host was welcoming got our large party seated right away. Slaw and pickles were on the table along with bread, so we had something to nibble on right away. Shrimp cocktail was solid, not great. My ribeye was good - lightly salted/seasoned and lots of rich flavor. The monte carlo potato was tasty. Creme brulee was... More

This is a well respected old time steakhouse. The service was very good. Our server was very attentive, efficient and made a few very good recommendations. That being said, I was disappointed in my steak. I had the bone in filet. It was not cooked to my specification of medium rare and was very much over cooked. In addition, the... More

I had Moishe's Filet Mignon and a Monte Carlo potato. Side order of potato varenikes (dough pillows stuffed with potatoes and onion). In addition, the chef being a friend of my host, we were treated to a plate of grilled assorted vegetables. The steak was melt-in-your-mouth perfection! I've never had a better one. Everything else was top-notch as well! Service... More

My visit to Moshie's Steakhouse was part of a large business group meeting, so was likely a difference experience compared to dining as a regular guest. That aside, it was overall a very positive experience. We were seated in the private function area which provided an excellent atmosphere for our discussions over dinner. The staff were very attentive to all... More

A place from my childhood through to my adult years. Room can be boisterous due to large parties and lots of young children. Food is expensive and steaks are excellent. Plate comes bare. Need a few sides which hike up the price. Wine list extensive! Desserts from the past. Cheesecake, millefeuilles etc. Waiters not as good as in the past. Veterans... More
