I come here for dinner whenever I visit Montreal, and I am never disappointed. Food was great. Went with a friend who is vegan, and they were happy with their meal too.

Great selection of sushi. Some very interesting lobster rolls. All the rolls were heavy on rice and sparse on fish. Point this out when you go and you may get lucky. Pinot Gris was terrible. Wait staff is not the best. All in all and average experience. Ambiance is pleasant and terrace is nice on a hot summer eve.

I'll start by saying that I don't eat fish. Surprise, surprise... now I eat sushi. Maiko's sushi is great for anyone who is a skeptic of eating raw fish...or fish at all for that matter. I was able to eat and really enjoy this type of food here. The way that the food is brought out to you is beautiful... More

Maiko Sushi on Bernard used to be one of the best sushi restaurants in Montreal. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and the menu was fabulous. Sadly, this is no longer true. It started with the hiring of inexperienced very young staff who although may be well intentioned, are not good waiters. Gone are the white tablecloths and candles, replaced... More

Beautiful plates! Lovely flavours! Good variety! And the chef was able to accommodate a special request: ie tuna tartare without onions or shallots! Go to Maiki and enjoy! XOXO

I've been going here for over 8 years! I love sushi and maiko sushi has the perfect combination of tastes all wrapped up in a heavenly roll! Love the ambience as well!

I was basically told by the untrained waitresses at the front that I had to leave because I didn't make reservations for my party of 2 on a Saturday night. They called us "walk-ins" and treated us like we were insane for thinking we could nab a table on a Saturday night without calling ahead. Maiko reality check: You're located... More

Happened upon this place quite by accident. Was attending a concert on St Laurent and needed to find somewhere to eat close by and a local recommended this place. The service, ambience and especially the food was so far above any other Japanese that I've ever had! It was simply fabulous! Instead of Tuna Tartare they had Tai Tartare....nothing to... More

It has been 10 years that I am going to this restaurant. The quality of the food went down a lot. The rice isn't that good and the worst of all is the quantity of fish inside the sushi rolls!!! I was there yesterday and I got refunded! Inside the kamikaze according to the waiter they have to put only... More

I had not been to maiko sushi in a few years and was so excited to get my most favourite sushi in town, and show it off to my friends, but sadly we were all disappointed. We ordered a variety off the menu, and sushi. I had to order the maiko roll, since it was always my all time fav,... More
