We had picked another Indian restaurant but was overruled by the Courtyard Concierge. I'm glad we went with his choice. We got the lunch buffet, great value and choices, after hiking around Mt. Royal Park so we were famished... We love Indian food and glad we found a spot to frequent on our returns. It's in a good area and... More

This resturant provides a great selection of Indian classics in fair portions. The staff were very friendly and the food service was super quick. It was a great way to finish a days touring.

I haven't been to India, but I've eaten in most of the best Indian restaurants of London, and Le Taj is as good as, or better, than all of them. Beautiful room, great food, perfect service, acceptable prices. Two warnings: I ate there on a Wednesday night, and every table was full. Best to reserve. Second warning: The green sauce... More

Really great restaurant with broad menu of indian food. Meal was excellent. A bit pricey but nice upscale ambiance. I did find service slow as it was 2 hours for 2 of us so take into account if in a hurry. Otherwise a great restaurant in a nice area of Montreal

Visited from NYC and found this to be the best South Asian food in Montreal. Indian operated with a significant Indian clientele. Terrific service. A busy yet elegant vibe. The vegetarian options were certainly delectable. We always left with full bellies.

We bought take out based on other online reviews. While the naan and makhni dhal were delicious, the rest of our order was very disappointing. The shahi paneer was hard and chewy. The butter chicken and chicken tikka had strange flavours, insipid looking and certainly not authentic.

We visited this restaurant to celebrate our parent's anniversary and it was a very pleasing experience. The restaurant came highly recommended from a local relative and we were looking forward to the food. Visiting this restaurant on Sunday night, I didnt expect parking to be an issue but I was so wrong ! I think I was lucky to find... More

I will forever crave their butter chicken. We had a wide sampling of their menu and it was all good. Great for vegetarians!
