With friends tried very eclectic wines and great steak and beak steaks shared a cote du boeuf with a friend - do nit recommend oysters - desserts are nice but not overwhelming / good service busy better to reserve / Very child friendly

More

Great place if you want to nibble on something with a glass of wine. I, myself, like wine but don't know much about it. The food is french-bistro, and I had to take up a lot of the waiter's time to figure out what to drink with my food. There's no real menu, the waiter brings up a big black... More

Really good place, the risotto is crazy good, organic wine only (vins bios) and perfect service. They know their wine and know how to serve it. Nice decor, not overdone and good ambiance. Really cool young but not hip and too much. I recommend it.

This is a truly good French restaurant, and the ample crowd testifies to that. The appetizers were some of the best I have had in my life. The mains were also quite nice; my steak was done with a nice mix of goat cheese, mushrooms, and endive that did not overwhelm the meat. The baked Alaska ("Alaskan bomb") was quite... More

The portions are small, typical bad value overpriced restaurant with an attitude and wines are overpriced as well (min 50$). We were served a bad wine and they did not replace it, instead they took our glasses and half filled wine bottle away, brought another one and at the end of the night, they CHARGED us for both the bad... A friend recommended this place for our ladies night for which it worked perfectly. Right from the outset from booking the table (Michel?) to the evening itself the guys were great. On the night our host Felix was a star, going through the menu and the wine list. Not pretentious in the slightest as some of these places can be.... More

I must start my review by asking for verification - we had attempted to go to Chez Chose on Rue St. Denis but it was closed so walked a few doors down to another French restaurant, took a few steps down to open the front door and walked into the best meal of our lives. None of the reviews here... More

I only ate twice there, a couple of years apart, but both times were great! I had gone there when they were starting out and had enjoyed the experience very much. Some restaurants go down after a couple of years but this is not the case here. They have kept the standard as if they had just opened. I had... More

This restaurant was suggested to me by another chef. He thought i'd like it - he was right! I got a seat at the bar. If you are a single or a couple and like watching how things are done I'd recommend a bar seat. The restaurant is small and in a basement but it has a nice ambience. I... More
