The Best

Honestly this was the best Italian restaurant I'd eaten at in Montreal so far. The portion sizes were perfect, pasta we had was delicious, and the waitrons were absolutely charming. We even received roses before we left. It was great.

We had a beautiful evening at Le Muscadin, the atmosphere was excellent, the Terrasse is lovely. My husband and I both had the same thing, the surf and turf (although it wasn't called that) the steak was perfection and the lobster delicious. For dessert I had a perfectly made creme brule and hubby had the tiramisu which he said was... More

It was my second time at the restaurant (the first time was a long time ago). The staff was fantastic and their terrace is amazing. Most of the dishes and hors d'oeuvres we've had were very good (althought we sometimes felt like something was missing like arancini without a sauce, prosciutto cut so thick that it was chewy), althought it... I found Le Muscadin on a gluten-free website. It is a very classy, inviting, delicious restaurant. I hope to visit Montreal again, so I can eat there, once more.

Food was amazing. Steak perfectly cooked and cray fish, simply divine! Everyone was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was warmly authentic. The drama of table side cooking is not to be missed. A night to remember!

I went to Le Muscadin for my friend's birthfay, because the Muscadin is the place to be if you enjoy amazing wine. We had a perfect night, with perfect food and perfect service. Owners make us feel at home and are very caring, they even adapted the menu to our needs and presented us with exquisite wine. My friend said... More

A must do if in Montreal . It has a true Italian feel. The food and staff are second to none. Leo makes you feel like family and we stayed much longer than planned, we were enjoying the night that much. The food is authentic with many surprises for the pallet. Everyone one at the table enjoyed everything we ordered.... More

Excellent service, excellent dinner. Although we dine there approximately once per year, they always remember us.

Pretty room is separated in sections by low wood- panelled dividers to offer some sense of intimacy. White linen covered tables are also set far enough from each other so that one doesn't feel crowded. On a weekday fancy date at lunchtime, we were seated near the front window and had a nice view of the whole restaurant. We were... More

Staying in Quartier International

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier International
Designed to connect and beautify unused space, today the Quartier International is like a transversal piece of modern art. The distinctive design flair is most apparent at its focal point, the Palais des Congres, a convention center and retail space with a multi-colored glass exterior and an equally bold interior motif. Outdoors too, the Quartier is friendly towards public art exhibits along its stylish, plotted city squares, with extra-wide sidewalks meant to encourage long strolls and shaded benches available for absorbing the atmosphere. Fresh air and promenades characterize the area, from the foliage of Victoria Square to the fountain of Place Jean-Paul Riopelle, while the restaurants along Rue Saint-Antonie Ouest and Metro stops modeled in the Parisian style give off European glamour.
