Tavern services, excellent food

Finding parking is tough. Try to make some reservation first on busy days. The service is rough, but the excellent Greek food worth all the trouble. Very good choice of dishes. Very nice indoor terrace and you can bring your wine. Have a very good chicken brochette. The area is a good place to walk... read more

By far the best greek food in Montreal! The value is exceptional, especially considering this is a BYOB restaurant. Anyone giving a bad rating to this place is out of their mind!

This is a truly "Greek" restaurant with a beautiful outdoor garden to be enjoyed all summer long. Especially recommendable as an opener is the Pikilia for two. All dishes on the menu offer a taste of Greece as does the atmosphere. This is a "bring your own wine" a feature that is unique to Montreal and takes a big amount... More

Restaurant was full but we found a table pretty quickly. Food was great, prices were absolutely , honest for the amount of food we ate. The whole experience was absolutely perfect, we really suggest it

I have been several times to Montreal, mostly on business trips. So once a business partner - French Canadian brought me to the place as we discussed a lot in the office about food and i complained that as an European in Montreal is not easy to get proper food. So he offered me to bring me to a place... More

I recommend the place food-wise and service-wise: fresh, good size and quick service. Bring your own wine makes all so much affordable.

I saw good reviews about this place, and decided to try it. its smelled very bad inside, the hostess was very rude and grumpy, and not welcoming. The staff seem nice although smelled sweat and were dirty. The food I ordered was served to me cold,i told the waiter about it,but he ignored it.paid the bill, left, never coming back again.Stay away from this place.

We have been dining here for years ,their service and food have maintained their quality. Their lunch menu is best bet as soup, coffee and a choice of desserts is included. They have a great back patio in the summer. Best of all there is no corking charge for wine!! All their dishes have salad with a vinaigrette dressing ,... More

We went with a large party of about 20, and it was remarkable how efficient they were with getting us our appetizers and food, especially because there were other large parties, and they had to carry everything up stairs. The garden seating would have been preferable, because we were kind of cramped and hot, but I'm sure they like to... More

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
