Delicious Greek Food with BYOB

We have been dining here for years ,their service and food have maintained their quality. Their lunch menu is best bet as soup, coffee and a choice of desserts is included. They have a great back patio in the summer. Best of all there is no corking charge for wine!! All their dishes have salad with... read more

I have been several times to Montreal, mostly on business trips. So once a business partner - French Canadian brought me to the place as we discussed a lot in the office about food and i complained that as an European in Montreal is not easy to get proper food. So he offered me to bring me to a place... More

I recommend the place food-wise and service-wise: fresh, good size and quick service. Bring your own wine makes all so much affordable.

I saw good reviews about this place, and decided to try it. its smelled very bad inside, the hostess was very rude and grumpy, and not welcoming. The staff seem nice although smelled sweat and were dirty. The food I ordered was served to me cold,i told the waiter about it,but he ignored it.paid the bill, left, never coming back again.Stay away from this place.

We went with a large party of about 20, and it was remarkable how efficient they were with getting us our appetizers and food, especially because there were other large parties, and they had to carry everything up stairs. The garden seating would have been preferable, because we were kind of cramped and hot, but I'm sure they like to... More

The restaurant was able to accommodate a party of 16 for dinner on a friday night. The food and service was very good. Party nearby was fairly easy, just read the signs carefully. The menu has plenty of options to choose from. Seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly.

Avoid this restaurant !!! very poor hygiene, the waiters were touching the forks and spoons on the part that goes in your mouth with their hands after handling money, Also, they were taking the bread out of some drawer and putting it in a basket before serving. The kitchen is so small at the entrance with so many people working... More

This Greek restaurant has been an icon on Prince Arthur street for at least 20 years. We go there at least 4 times a year. In the Summertime they have a charming terrasse in the back which is always packed. Usually one has to wait at least 45 minutes for a table: they only take reservations in Winter. The food... More

We walk 40 minutes to get there and it was worth it. They fully deserve their 2014 Trip Advisor award in the front door and we were not disappointed, specially on a very quiet monday night. The most tender and tasty brochettes we had so far and there would be no point in looking further down the street on our... More

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
