A Wonderful Dining Experience; will be back.

Please, save yourself the trouble and go to Impasto in Little Italy, or for a cheaper option, just go to Milano (supermaket) and buy yourself fresh pasta to cook at home. There is NOTHING that justifies the exuberant prices at Campari Centro - 30 $ for pasta, up to 40$ for meat, wine bottles that start at 50$.... The risotto... More

Exceptional service. Very friendly staff and owner. Food was really good. Simple classic and very well-made Italian cusine at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

I took my daughter and her boyfriend to Il Campari for dinner while we were all in town. We had a sampling of appetizer plates, shared the chef's pasta trio, and then our server's recommended cake. All were exquisite. Our server was welcoming and beyond professional, but also picked up on our goofy mood in little ways, singing a Christmas... More

This is our second Christmas party at this restaurant. It’s an elegant, cosy type of restaurant where you can dress down and feel very at ease. The minute you sit down they serve you a basket of mixed breads, homemade hot focaccia, homemade breadsticks and other goodies. As an appetizer I ordered a mixed antipasto dish which came with pieces... More

Nothing special for Italian. We found the dishes lacked in flavor and pretty average, and expensive.

Only a few minutes walk from the Bell Centre this is a friendly Italian with a great menu, fairly priced and good food. The spagetti a la vongole wasn't the best I have ever had but none the less a good meal before watching the Habs play the Devils...

I go to Montreal twice a year on a girls' weekend, and we always eat at this restaurant. The service and food are consistently amazing, and the prices are great. All of us (me, my daughter, my two sisters, my niece and a friend) love this place. The staff always remember us, and make us feel at home. If you... More

Visiting from Ottawa had a craving for italian. My husband being italian and from Montreal wanted to go to this restaurant as he loved the food when he use to go plus it wasn't too far from our hotel. The reviews on trip advisor confirmed his expectations...The pasta fagioli soup was amazing and so was the veal scallopini. The decor... More

My family comes up to Montreal every spring/fall and we always come here. The food is amazing - we always have the pasta and deserts. The service is always great - everyone there is so friendly, it's always a pleasure to visit. Will definitely continue coming back.

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighborhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
