Went several times over the years, most recently in February 2014. Never disappoints. Tapas are more generous than in other tapas joints in Montreal, service is great, wine list is unbeatable. And decor is nice. Don't miss the lamb filet, it's to die for. Everything is good, you can pick with you eyes closed. I've seen the place pretty busy... More

Wonderful, flavourful and wide selection of tapas. The Gaudi inspired decor was a great reminder of Barcelona on a cold February night in Montreal. We especially recommend the garlic shrimp and the skirt steak in red wine sauce. Good selection of Spanish wines. The service was attentive and friendly. This was our second visit...won't be our last.

Went there on a Friday night. Had reservations got 8.30 but had to wait for our table for about 30 minutes. No problem. Sat at the bar and drank our wine with nice warm olives. Once seated we ordered 2 tapas. Sweetbread with grapes and cod with asparagus emulsion. Both delicious. Next dish was paella Valencia. That took more than... More

It's no wonder we keep coming back to Casa Tapas: the dishes, the wine list, the service, the decor (you have to like Gaudí though), the atmoshere, everything contributes to its being a wonderful experience time after time. We've tried other "tapas bars" and find they are pale imitations, or even north-americanized versions, of the true Spanish tapas bar. Not... More

This is a wonderful tapas restaurant. The atmosphere is beautiful with all kinds of art work and tiled murals. It's a fancier/classy restaurant. We went as a large group and had a wonderful dinner sharing all kinds of plates... I don't remember what we specifically ordered - but everything was really good. The service was impeccable, they helped us chose... More

We chose this restaurant b/c of tripadvisor and with a 4-star average rating, we were personally surprised it was not a bit higher. The quality of ingredients was very high and a lot of care goes into their preparations. We cook at home a lot and we noticed that everything we had was made from scratch, including the artichoke dish.... More

My wife and I ate here on our second night of the long weekend visit to Montreal. I ordered the Sea Bass and wife ordered the squid (not fried). We quickly traded, but only because I find all the little bones in the fish annoying - but that's my problem, I should have known better. Both dishes were really very... More

I chose this instead of several other Tapas restaurants as they had the largest selection of non-fish items for my allergic daughter. There were many many choices and we ordered about 1 of everything. It was all very good, although some were better than others. Most of the dishes were so close to being great, but missed slightly. The waiter... More

Went there with a friend on a Wednesday evening at 6h30pm. Great service from start to finish...waiter very helpful and made good suggestion for wine, explained the different tapas and gave recommendations. Lovely atmosphere, music not too loud. Would definitely go back! Food was amazing!!!
