The restaurant looks bright and clean, and service was efficient and friendly. The onion soup was full of flavour, the best I've tasted. The caribou burger was good, and the Moroccan mussels were delicious. I also enjoyed a cherry beer - much better than it sounds!

My wife and stopped in here after a very wet walk in Mont Royal park. Their lunch time table d'hote was very good and they have a good selection of beer. It was after the lunch rush so the service was very efficient.

We went on a Sunday evening for the all-you-can-eat-mussel-menu, and I had 2 portions of the Thai mussels. They were delicious, and I would definitely go back for more. The only thing that kind'of ruined the experience was the wine. I am of the opinion that white wine goes with sea food and fish, so I ordered a glass of... More

First, let me say that I've been to this restaurant before and it was a better experience. This time around, I was less than impressed. They still have a great beer selection and the menu has a lot to offer, but I was very disappointed with my selection. Of the almost two pages of mussels on offer, I chose the... More

This place was quite wonderful. They have a very extensive menu, and it seemed very Alsatian to me. It was definitely a French place, but with strong German influences (matly beers, sausages, saurerkraut, a variety of mustards), which I had experienced (and loved) in Strasbourg, France. Everything about my evening here was great. I loved the food, and the portion... More

Any place that serves mussels will draw my wife like a shark to blood. This was in our neighborhood, on Rue St. Denis just south of Ave. Mount-Royal, so we had to go. Offering all-you-can-eat mussels on Sun-Wed just sealed the deal. The mussels aren't the only thing here, though there are seventeen different ways to prepare them. They also... More

Our family of foodies decided to try this restaurant after a quick internet search. It was easy to find but parking can be a challenge on a sunny, brisk afternoon in Montreal. The restaurant was bright and our table had a great view of the pedestrian traffic on St. Denis. The extensive beer menu was like reading a short novel.... More

Beware !! If you like your mussels cooked soft and succulent then you may be very disappointed as I was last evening 25Jan2014. I ordered the traditional 'Moules Marinieres' which is mussels in white wine and shallot broth, the most basic and well known method. My mussels arrived completely over cooked, totally shrunken and shrivelled and look like peanuts rather... More

Great evening at this restaurant with a really fun atmosphere. Restaurant offered a fantastic menu of beers and the food was terrific. We chose to start with two appetizers of mussels featuring two different broths and they were both superb! Our entrees were the sausage sampler and these were excellent as well.

Nice restaurant that showcases beer from micro breweries, imported, local, you name it. Yes most of them are the most commercial ones (and you can find them almost anywhere) but at least you have a large selection to satisfy your tastebuds. Their menu focuses more on mussels, they have two entire pages dedicated to them, but we decided to go... More
