This place was quite wonderful. They have a very extensive menu, and it seemed very Alsatian to me. It was definitely a French place, but with strong German influences (matly beers, sausages, saurerkraut, a variety of mustards), which I had experienced (and loved) in Strasbourg, France. Everything about my evening here was great. I loved the food, and the portion... More

Any place that serves mussels will draw my wife like a shark to blood. This was in our neighborhood, on Rue St. Denis just south of Ave. Mount-Royal, so we had to go. Offering all-you-can-eat mussels on Sun-Wed just sealed the deal. The mussels aren't the only thing here, though there are seventeen different ways to prepare them. They also... More

Our family of foodies decided to try this restaurant after a quick internet search. It was easy to find but parking can be a challenge on a sunny, brisk afternoon in Montreal. The restaurant was bright and our table had a great view of the pedestrian traffic on St. Denis. The extensive beer menu was like reading a short novel.... More

Beware !! If you like your mussels cooked soft and succulent then you may be very disappointed as I was last evening 25Jan2014. I ordered the traditional 'Moules Marinieres' which is mussels in white wine and shallot broth, the most basic and well known method. My mussels arrived completely over cooked, totally shrunken and shrivelled and look like peanuts rather... More

Great evening at this restaurant with a really fun atmosphere. Restaurant offered a fantastic menu of beers and the food was terrific. We chose to start with two appetizers of mussels featuring two different broths and they were both superb! Our entrees were the sausage sampler and these were excellent as well.

Nice restaurant that showcases beer from micro breweries, imported, local, you name it. Yes most of them are the most commercial ones (and you can find them almost anywhere) but at least you have a large selection to satisfy your tastebuds. Their menu focuses more on mussels, they have two entire pages dedicated to them, but we decided to go... More

OMG! You will have your fill of mussels, especially on Sun-Wed when it is bottomless! 2 kgs of mussels for 4 people were plenty, without refills.... We had the Indonesian style (wine, coconut milk, basil, cayenne pepper, celery, onions, shallots) and the Irish style (Guinness, wine, cream, mushrooms, honey, Dijon mustard, celery, onions, shallots) - both good. We also shared... More

Visit for delicious mussels. We had the Moules Bieres & Cie version. A large pot of mussels cooked with bacon, poutine cheese, onions, shallots, green pepper sauce, wine, cream and celery. This is one of my favorite ones! You also receive bread and French fries with dipping sauce. You won't go hungry. Lots of great draft beer as well -... More

Been there a couple of times now, always good. Staff is always super nice and friendly. The beer selection is awesome, but the food is also very original. Nice plates, very tasty and fair prices. I love the ambiance, particulary in the summer with the large windows open. Perfect for a dinner with friends!
