Okay service, expensive.

The restaurant was accommodating both times we ate here, but it was loud and the servers the first night were a bit rude. The second night the server was excellent. Best Ribs you can taste in your whole life. Very juicy, tasty & well cooked. The BBQ sauce used with ribs is tasteful and the side cole slaw is delicious & rich, the french fries are crunchy and tasty. I never left any left-overs in Baton Rouge. I advise all friends who visit Montreal to eat over there and they... More

The restaurant was accommodating both times we ate here, but it was loud and the servers the first night were a bit rude. The second night the server was excellent. The prices were more than we usually are comfortable with, but it was close to the hotel and one of the only restaurants open on Easter Sunday.

Went there with my son and we ordered the ribs and the chicken with a few sides one of which was onion rings. We were served our food within about 5 minutes of ordering which left you with the impression that everything was ready to go based on a re-heat and this appeared to be the case as the food... More

I am a fan of Baton Rouge and go from time to time. As I've come to expect, the meal was flawless; from friendly hostesses, to friendly and fast service, to excellent food and dessert! I highly recommend this place for an excellent and tasty meal. Their ribs are especially delicious!!!!! I will return!

I have had ribs in many restaurants in the US, but hands Baton Rouge had the best ribs I ever had. The were so tender with an excellent barbecue sauce. My wife had prime rib which was overdone but they were nice and quickly replaced it with a medium rare portion. The restaurant was very busy and energetic. I highly... More

Been here before and hoped for a better service. First of all I was there at 3pm, and the place was almost empty. Still everybody was in a hurry apparently to get my dinner and get me out as soon as possible. Appetizes, (calemari) was fine. Bit too much oil. The ribs with fries were ok, but had to ask... More

We rolled into this place at 6:30pm on Valentines day. Should have been torturous, but it wasn't. A table by the bar was just leaving and the hostess was ok with us taking a seat. Amazing! Sebastian was our server and he was great. He made cocktail recommendations, after dinner drink recommendations, had a great personality and helped us choose... More

You need iron jaws to eat the lunchtime steak special at the Jockey street branch (Blue Bonnets). Both my wife and I had this lunch. At $17.00 it was a tough disappointment. I was so hungry that I ate mine, but my wife sent hers back! Lo and behold, my wife got a very tender replacement steak. The originally served... More

Nothing shocking one way or another when you stop at Baton Rouge. Food, service and decor are all pretty standard for this chain. No complaints because everything was adequate. Left feeling happy, full and my wallet not drained!

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
