Good food and atmosphere

The restaurant was redesigning its original space, so we went to their private dining room. It was a pretty intimate space, but lots of people made it loud. Definitely a place where the "beautiful people" hang out! We had a wonderful waiter who advised us what to order. He did a great job. We... read more

We had a business lunch at Milos, it is to be noted that I did not make the selection of the place (I didn't know about this place). We were actually in their "private" location 1 street away from the regular restaurant that was under renovations. IT was a bit noisy but you can't hold it against them ... it... More

On several of our friends' recommendations, we made a reservation at Milos & was not disappointed! My husband & I shared three appetizers- the tower of crispy zucchini & eggplant, the tomato, feta salad & the octopus. Our waiter suggested half orders for the first two. We then shared an order of poached halibut. Everything was served quite elegantly by... More

This was my first time to the restaurant and it was amazing. I had the tomato salad and the lamb as an entree for lunch. the atmosphere is great and the service was amazing. I suggest you make reservations as it gets very busy.

We went for a family dinner after a kid presentation at school and the food and staff were absolutely great. The whole sea bass served in the salt crust was out of this world ! Know that the portions are sharing style, so order one appetizer each and then enjoy sharing !!

Very good food but definitely not worth the money. Our bill was $340 for a bottle of wine, 2 appetizers and 2 main courses. Worth it? Not really. Couldn't complain about the service or the quality however I was expecting more of a "wow" factor. I'm happy to have gone to say that I ate there however I'm not in... More

Food was okay but after verifying my online credit card statement the very next day the waiter (David) seems to have graciously added himself additional tip money to my total bill. I did not under tip, $135.42 + $25.00 tip mysteriously went to $135.42 + $34.00 tip. No credit card machines are used at Milos at least not that evening,... More

We’ve been there with a group of 6 and ordered several appetizers, such as grilled octopus, fried calamari, scallops and oysters that we shared. The main courses ranged from swordfish to tuna to grilled lamp chops. The optical appearance of all dishes and the taste, simply said, excellent. Together with some red wine, you can spend a very nice evening... More

I go there for the grilled octopus. I could live just on that. By chance, they had lobster pasta on the menu too. Scared to order pasta in a Greek restaurant ? No worries. Al Dente and subtle. Service is great. Had a big conversation about balkan music with our waiter last time. There is something almost poetically mafioso (think... More

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
