This was one of the best restaurants we have eaten in. Waitress was on her 27th year. A little forward but she meant well. Greek in nature in both interior and food. Seafood is why you go. Don't go otherwise. Fish was outstanding. Prawns were best ever. Dessert was baklava ice... read more

Simply amazing how fresh and wonderful this meal was. Restaurant is beatiful... All white and natural wood floors, like stepping into a villa on an isle in Greece. Freshest fish and seafood, expertly prepared on a wood fired grill. Freshest vegetables and excellent wine and conversation with friends. Wait staff top notch. Attentive but not overly so. Try the zucchini... More

Milos came highly recommended so we decided to try it out. The fish was very fresh and the ambiance was excellent. Unfortunately for the price, the menu was very simple with minimal creativity. The swordfish and tuna were grilled with little or no seasoning. We are from the northeast and have numerous choices for grilled seafood. We expected a seafood restaurant... More

We had a dinner in Milos Saturday evening. Good location, nice setting, great staff . As restaurant was fully booked this evening, we could reserve a bar places only. However upon arrival they found a table for us - great. Very fresh fish, tasty although simple. Would give 4 points if not a temperature in the restaurant . It was... More

My sister and brother in law recommended Milo's to us for our vacation trip to Montreal. We love greek food so we were very excited. The restaurant blew us away. From the decor, to the service, to the food; everything was perfect. We ordered too much food and ate too much food but everything was delicious. Can't wait to visit... More

Once again the food and service was second to none. The remodeled restaurant is nice and intimate. Fish was fresh and well prepared. 11 at the table and all enjoyed the food.

Was treated by a generous friend to the excellent value lunch menu at $25 CDN per person. Nice choice of starters, mains and desserts, and excellent Greek wines by the glass. The greens and feta in philo pastry starter was perfect, and the grilled bream main was excellent. The veg that accompanied the main could have been a bit better,... More

My husband is working in Montreal for several months. Our teen ager and I came to visit and celebrate our 29th anniversary. We made reservations at Milos because several of the locals recommended it. I know there are negative reviews about how Americans were treated..I have no clue what they were talking about!!! We felt pampered, very well attended by... More

Place just reopened and it was packed for our Sunday night 730 pm reservation. We had the fixed price special for 45 dollars each and included choice of 3 appetizers (loved the callimari) then a super fresh greek salad followed by choice of 3 main dishes then dessert. I loved my lamb but my wife had a few too many... More

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
