Tasty breakfast

Delicious breakfast potatoes and eggs benedict. Kids loved the Nutella stuffed French toast with fresh strawberries. Restaurant was quite crowded and so the noise level was very high during our visit. Food was delicious....

Full disclosure, I am American and was seeking a place that served croissants. We found this after being suggested by a art store. The waiting was a little long once we got the table. The cafe au lait was very good. Similar to what I have had in New Orleans french quarter. I wanted something local and unique so I... More

There are tons of choices, including many variations on eggs benedict. The service was great and our waiter was super friendly and helpful. The food was Just OK, but my expectations were pretty high given all the rave reviews.

The menu should have enough to satisfy anyone. The staff was helpful and pleasant and offered some suggestions to keep the price down for the children's meals. Highly recommend. The bagels were fabulous as well as the eggs Benedict. I had the southwest omelet with avocado.

We went for Saturday breakfast. Service was friendly and fast. Food was fresh, hot and nicely presented. Decor was modern and our booth was roomy. I had eggs Benedict and my partner had the special omelet. Both were great. Washrooms are in a cold "dungeon" in the basement and could have been cleaner. A nice spot in Vieux Montreal. We... More

I had two different friends highly this place so we walked 10 blocks in the cold rain to try it. The coffee was excellent ( I drink it black so there's no hiding it behind milk and sugar). Our attentive waiter quickly served us with fresh squeezed orange juice ( wonderful ) and breakfast: fruit salad just ok, my eggs... More

My wife and I ended up stopping in here randomly when we were in town and were pleasantly surprised with how great it was! The eggs were cooked just right and the other foods were perfectly cooked. Try the Belgian Waffles- nice and fluffy with a slightly flaky outer layer.

Our waitress was very nice and helpful. The menu had lots of breakfast option and everything sounded delicious. Our pursers were a bagel and lox, eggs and pancakes, eggs and French toast, and S'mores French toast. Everybody thought the food was good and it was priced very well. The smoothies were also a great addition to our meal! I would... More

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
