We ate breakfast here one morning during the MTL JazzFest because we were staying in the Hyatt. The atmosphere is lively as it faces a busy pedestrian corner and plaza. There's some limited outdoor seating on the patio. The plates remind of a slightly gentrified truck stop. The food was filling but not particularly healthy. A decent stop, but probably... More

Wife and I both had eye opener breakfast, 2 eggs, toast, home fries, 1 slice of watermelon , pineapple and grapefruit.. 7.50 in an area of 18 dollar breakfasts. Total 28.00 with 1 B Mary and tip. Filled on Sunday morning, a full house is never wrong.

Stumbled across this little gem while visiting on our 10th wedding anniversary. Whilst from the outside the place looks a little bit bland the food is devine. The fresh pressed juices are thick and filling in their own right. I had eggs benedict on both visits and cannot fault either. It was the best I have ever tasted. I also... More

I ate here twice while in town for business. Great breakfasts both times I was there. Service was ok the first time and even better the second time.

The food is pricey, but it is good quality food. And its quiet, since its not typically crowded. Service was good. The booths were roomy. It was pretty clean. The pancakes were good.

Well situated near the center of town, I was sadly disappointed. You'd have thought a restaurant with egg in the name would know how to cook a 2 egg scarmble! What arrived on my plate was hard & rubbery and certainly not 2 eggs. I had to ask for more butter for the dry toast (supposed to be buttered I... More

Having been too late for our hotels included breakfast this was an excellent find. We were seated right away. They had a wide variety of great choices. The eggs with french toast was my pick. The entire meal for 5 including tip and tax was only $68 Canadian. Service was both quick and friendly.

Last day in Montreal & in fact Canada heading back to New York for a week then long flight home to Australia. Walked past Eggspectation Montreal looking to relax with some beer & wine. On entering asked if we could connect to their Wifi something we have done like most travellers many times on this trip with no problems. Told... More

Given it was a chain, I didn't expect much from it especially given this popular location in a tourist area, but I thought the smoked meat omelette was perfectly prepared. The other breakfast options didn't seem anything special but they looked good when it was served to other tables. The yogurt parfait was good too but quite pricey for what... More
