We have frequented chao pray for years. A few weeks ago our order was mixed up but we brushed it of as a bad day. Last night, it took over fifteen minutes and us telling to 2 people we were ready to order for one waiter to come over, he spoke perfect English and there was no confusion. 10 minutes... More

This was my second time at Chao Phraya. The first was 2 years ago. The food was as good as I remembered and the service and ambience were also great. Most memorable item we ordered on the menu: Lobster mango salad. Tofu in peanut sauce with crispy spinace is also very good - a bit on the sweeter side!

Very busy place. It would be great if they had round tables that could accommodate parties of 8 or 10. Only one table for 6. The food and the wines are on the expensive side. The sathays, spring rolls and chicken green curry were average. Very good beef salad and frog legs. Good sticky rice and mango as well as... More

It wasn't our first time at Chao Phraya - we reserved a table of 8 for Saturday night, and were eager to bring some friends along given that we were craving good Thai food (especially the excellent peanut sauce they serve). Our reservation was at 9.30 and even though we got there on time, we weren't seated before 10.05! All... More

I went there for dinner with family members and was really surprised by the cleanliness and service. Food was very tasty with generous portions. I recommend number 59 on the menu!

Not my most favorite Thai restaurant, but my friend quite like it. At the "rush hour", the restaurant was pretty full on the the first floor. It may disturb some quiet diners, but it didn't bother us. The deco is really nice, quite a few art pieces. And thai orchid in the little vase is in various colors. I like... More

Every time we travel to Montreal we make it a point to have dinner at Chao Phraya. The atmosphere is pleasant. The service is great and the food is incredibly delicious and never disappoints! Always looking forward to our visit to Chao Phraya. Wish they would expand to South Florida....we would be their number one customer.

The appetizers (Green Mango Salad and Mee Krob) were disappointing and I was a little worried about the rest of the meal but the mains were absolutely delicious. Red Thai chicken Curry was lick the bowl delicious as were all the vegetable dishes we ordered. We4 did not find the heat indicators all that accurate....three chilis were not very spicy... More

I like the cozy warm ambiance and mixture of old and new design in this restaurant. The food seems to reflect the atmosphere too. We'd definitely go back to this place. One of the best Thai restaurants in Montreal.
