We went there after many years to celebrate the restaurants 70th birthday! It did not disappoint! We were a group of 10 and the service was quick! It is true that. The decore hasn't been updated in many many years, but I do think it adds to the experience. The food...the best! Truly a Montreal treasure!

It is what it is and what it has been for over 40 years. They make BBQ chicken, and more BBQ chicken and almost nothing other than BBQ chicken. And it us great. The fries are also great and I think the best in Montreal. A real chocolate chocolate cake as well. Here is to one-trick-ponies who do it so... More

The best chicken in the west end of Montreal. It's been around forever and has a tiny menu that has not changed since the Ice Age. But the BBQ chicken is excellent and their unique BBQ sauce is delicious. Go for the food and ignore the decor.

This restaurant is a throwback to the 60's. Pine paneling, coconut cream pie, the waitresses all look like someone's mom and double deep fried French fries. It's all there. The chicken is exactly the way it has always been. The sauce is good. Coleslaw comes in a paper cup, salad well if you must but it's not what mom the... More

Chicken, slaw, and fries......what really makes this place a standout is it's decor. Seventy years of happy customers; I wonder what stories the knotty pine panelling could tell.

This is my first 'food stop' on the list of "must eat when in Montreal." Inexpensive and delicious which is why Montreal locals have been coming here for decades. Chicken, fries, slaw and an extra side of sauce and you have a little bit of heaven. Yes the decor is quite outdated, but really, would it be the same if... More

This is one of those greasy spoon spots that have decor from the 60's .... you only go for a Good BBQ chicken and fries with the best gravy in the city. I always have the breast plate as the chicken leg is too raw for me and dangerously undercooked. It's a Mtl staple place for a quick and good... More

This restaurant has a 1940's charm about it. I have been going here for almost 50 years and it's by far the best chicken and fixings in the city. If you like rotisserie slow cooked chicken, this place is not to be missed. Large comfortable booths line the walls, and many of the staff have been there for decades. They... More

If you like chicken...go here...period... the best ever... and inexpensive for Montreal...more food than we could eat for 25 total...salad/soup 1/4 breast and plate full of fries.. yum yum! Open since 1944 and nothing has changed in this "quaint" place...which is nice in this day and age of constant change.
