Service is horrible, food is okay, drinks are great.

I've been coming here for a few years now but infrequently. I did not enjoy my last two experiences. The service is really bad, they are definitely understaffed for such a huge restaurant that is always full. We had to wait 30 min just to get water and then another 15-20 for drinks. Our food... read more

We had about an hour and a half to 'kill' before our 3 p.m. bus to Ottawa (think we were at a second 3 Amigos location, near Berri.) and were hungry for lunch. 3 Amigos smelled good / looked friendly. Our server, Amelie, was prompt, friendly, and professional. The entrees include salsa & chips, a small cup of (in this... More

Food was tasteless, we are serious Mexican food eaters and we also know how to prepare several dishes. We were used to the taste of Charlotte's (NC, USA) Mexican restaurants so we have been trying to find something similar or better in Montréal. The service was slow (but our waiter was great) we waited about 40 minutes for our food.... More

Great food and lots of it. The only draw back is its very noisy, so if you want quite this is not the place. if you can tolerate the noise the food is worth it!

This place is very busy and very loud. It appeals to the young folk who hang out on St. Catherines street. Cheap, bad tasting food that does not resemble real Mexican food. Large Margarita's but little actual tequila in them. The side of black beans that came with my plate was so salty that I could not finish them, even... More

Yum and Fun! We ate on the patio while visiting Montreal. Food was delicious and drinks were better! My friends and I each got a "flute" which is a drink container you get to keep branded with the name and logo afterwards. I had the tacos, friends had quesidillas and another had a burger... everyone loved the food.

Very loud and crowded (very popular!), but the quality of the food was very mediocre and the service was poor (likely because of the crowds). Restaurant cuts corners on quality of the food - inadequate sweet pepper and other vegetables and almost no cilantro with the fajitas - mainly onions. Salsa was very bland and guacamole mediocre. Washrooms located in... More

Very popular. Go for the Jalapeno maragarita. Steak seems a hit. There is a variety of reasonably priced entrees- the whole enchilada -burritos/tacos/chimchanga/salads. Chips and Salsa was some of the best I have had,

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighborhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
