Decent Mexican food, good atmosphere

Clearly this is a popular place, there was a line and all tables were full by the time we left. The food was quite tasty and portions were really large. I thought that the chip/salsa basket could have been refilled. Also, one would think there would be a spicy salsa option, not picoso at all... read more

This is a casual restaurant. The food here is well priced, enjoyable and would be suitable for friends or family. A good selection of tequila-based drinks. Decorations are entertaining to look at.The entryway for the door ensures that no cold air enters the seating area of the restaurant, which is a definite plus in winter. The down side - the... More

Their food is bland and anything but mexican. They cheap specials even they are not worth the money. On top of it their waiters are very rude. So never going back.

I was walking down the street then I noticed the big Mexican hats ,and said '' let's try their food ''. After ordering some burritos , I figured out why this place is busy all the time. Seriously ,their food are the best of the best in that area .

Loved the ambiance. I tried nachos with jalapeños cheese, great appetizers. The fajitas dish is amazing. The waiter was helpful. Overall we had a great experience.

The margaritas are amazing all the drinks are amazing. Only go here if you have an empty stomach. Food is so good and they sing "Happy Birthday" and you get a sombrero & free flan if its your birthday. Trust me, I found out the fun way. I definitely will return my next visit to Montreal.

Went there on a Monday evening with a group of friends, and the place was relatively busy given it was the 4th of Jan and around -15°C. Didn't have to wait long. Food was good, but the sangria was average.

It's all about our new year blunder... To dine on new year eve with your family away from home .. Was it too much of asking? Because our choice was to dine at Les 3 Amigos! . Every dish we ordered with a juice was billed around 25$! (They included the tips with the bill plus they asked for additional... More

Nice restaurant on Rue St Catherine with lots of options for the Mexican food lover. Nicely prepared and presented by helpful waiters. Been a couple of times and both experiences good.

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighborhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
