If you want to feel like youre at a frat party!!!!!

Stay away. Obnoxious and loud is the feeling you bet here. Obviously just a place for younger people to get trashed. Service was terrible.

My girlfriend and I were in town visiting family when we decided to check out Nacho Libre based off a recommendation. We had a great time. There was nothing offensive about the decor. In fact, I enjoyed the videos on the TV, the posters of the luchadores and the swing chair. We both ordered drinks and loved both the taste... More

Ok, maybe not so much about the choices of food, but what they have is really, really good. Our group pretty much tried everything on the menu, probably because there are only 4 or 5 items. It’s about cheap Mexican food. the nacho’s and quesadilla are fantastic. We went with a chicken/chorizo combo… nice choice. Once past the food items,... More

Except the free pichet for a group of 4 girls, nothing is positive from this bar. Food is alright, nothing good. Prices SO high, and the management is disgustingly repulsive.

Lately this bar has come under fire on the Internet for using a racial stereotype to promote and try to gain popularity with other bigots... I still went last night just to make sure the problem wasn't only on the Internet and I found out the whole bar is not at all up to par. We were first greeted by... More

I don't recommend this venue to anyone unless they are only looking to have a quick beer... It was hockey night, so granted, this was maybe not the best way to experience a pub for its social aspects... the food was OK, not amazing but was really expensive for what it was. We were fascinated by the total price of... More

Sorry to read your first experience wasn't a pleasant one. That being said, we've been opened for over 4 years now and I can assure you that this place was built on good service, amazing ambiance and great, fresh, home cooked food. Keep in mind Nacho Libre isn't your typical restaurant nor is it your typical dive bar. We're a... More

Staying in Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie

Neighborhood Profile
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie has one of Canada's most prominent Italian communities, with Little Italy concentrated along the convivial bends of Saint-Lawrence Boulevard. Known for its fantastic bars and authentic Italian fare, the domain includes the Jean-Talon Market, the largest public market in North America. Open year-round, sunny months see fruit and vegetable stalls set up outside the main chalet, while blustery weather draws crowds indoors to meat and cheese sellers, spices and truffles stalls, and for regional delicacies such as rare Charlevoix lamb. While the market dictates what's fresh for local restaurateurs, visitors can please more than their palates, taking in the Renaissance architecture and frescos of Madonna della Difesa, the picturesque Rue Saint-Rominique with its cheerful homes and splendid gardens, or the ornamented thoroughfare of Plaza Saint-Hubert.
