By 8 o'clock in the morning, it's good time for a buckwheat crepe and/or whole wheat breakfast crepe along with a good cup of coffee. La Creperie du Marche belongs to the family Good-Food-Street, Gluten-free and lactose-free.; Lunchtime offers a choice of garnished crepes along with fresh juices and fresh ciders, and at any hour of the day, all our sweet and savoury crepes will satisfy your cravings, either on site at the counter, at our tables, to eat on the go, or to take back home.La Creperie du Marche offers you the added value of mixing the Breton and French cultures... an invitation to travel, to discover... thanks to the expertise of our passionate crepe makers. All savoury crepes (buckwheat served thin and crispy) and sweet crepes (wheat-free served soft cooked) are prepared on site, using our traditional recipes and using only products from Quebec, those of our artisan producers (milk, flour, cheese, egg, pork, smoked salmon, etc.).The toppings are freshly prepared on site with fruit and vegetables gathered daily at the market on the day. It is also the case with our bechamel sauce, our house salted butter caramel, and our house chocolate, which are the delight of our loyal customers! Our products are, for the most part, certified organic, or they come from producers concerned about healthy a nature and a clean environment, as are we. This is why, for example, our utensils, plates and cups are 100% biodegradable and compostable.

Just wow

Great crepes. The best I've ever had outside of France. The vegetarian galette crepe was really good and the cider was also very drinkable.

I attended the Montreal fruit market which was an amazing place. I was looking for a place to eat and felt like this crepe was really different and unique. I decided to try their special which was a ham and cheese crepe loaded all the way. I thought it was a nice experience to watch them make it and I... More

We went to the Jean Talon market intending to get a croissant and coffee for breakfast but happened upon this place which is right there when you enter. We shared the breakfast special which was plenty for two and 10% off! The apples in the crepe were applesauce so be forewarned and the ham was skimpy but, all in all,... More

No trip to Montreal is complete without visiting the fresh produce market Jean Talon Market or Marche. We always go there during our trip to Montreal to enjoy the food, buy fresh produce and generally enjoy the ambience. Our lunch at the creperie du Marche was refreshing and light. A well balanced meal prepared in front of you. Fresh produce... More

We love le marché Jean-Talon. Whenever we're in Montreal we visit either le marché Jean-Talon or le marché Atwater. Both are excellent urban farmer's markets. The Jean-Talon market has lots of different foods to sample, eat or to take home. On our last visit, while we were eating our way through the Jean-Talon Market, we decided to try the Crêperie... In Jean-Talon Market in Montreal you'll find this crepe stand. The smell of freshly made crepes is the first clue that something good is happening - a bit like a bakery but with a little sweetness as well. There are both savoury and sweet crepes, made to order. The crepes themselves are made with buckwheat flour so they are crispy... More

We've stumbled upon this place at the Jean Tallon market. The crepes are delicious, healthy and you leave feeling surprisingly light. Highly recommend this little piece of "Healthy desert" Heaven!!!

Staying in Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie

Neighborhood Profile
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie has one of Canada's most prominent Italian communities, with Little Italy concentrated along the convivial bends of Saint-Lawrence Boulevard. Known for its fantastic bars and authentic Italian fare, the domain includes the Jean-Talon Market, the largest public market in North America. Open year-round, sunny months see fruit and vegetable stalls set up outside the main chalet, while blustery weather draws crowds indoors to meat and cheese sellers, spices and truffles stalls, and for regional delicacies such as rare Charlevoix lamb. While the market dictates what's fresh for local restaurateurs, visitors can please more than their palates, taking in the Renaissance architecture and frescos of Madonna della Difesa, the picturesque Rue Saint-Rominique with its cheerful homes and splendid gardens, or the ornamented thoroughfare of Plaza Saint-Hubert.
