I have been enjoying this charming friendly restaurant for years. The sushi is fresh and bursting with flavor. Love it!

The sushi was very good. Though in the California roll the cucumber was very dominate. Service was a bit slow? But there were only two servers since it is a smal place. Overall, I was satisfied with the food and the service. Would definitely return!

The location was abit hard to find, but when we entered, it felt like a welcoming place. I think all the staffs were Japanese. The service is really efficient with politeness. We ordered seaweed salad, salmon steak and Tonkatsu, and two sushi for testing this restaurant being authentic or not. We were pretty satisfied because the flavor was the same... More

Ok disclaimer is I eat sushi and Japanese in Vancouver which can't be beat for freshness, low cost and originality .. but my experience at this restaurant was nothing short of awful .. looking at all the great reviews I am puzzled ... I had the sushi/sashimi combination which was a whopping $ 27 - and a Japanese beer, equally... More

Service was soo slow, grilled squid was horrible and tasted like rubber and sushi was over priced. Would not eat here again.

Furusato is one of the few japanese owned restaurants in Montréal. It is a great place for authentic japanese confort food. Staff is very friendly and Chef Akira makes excellent sushi. Enjoy it!

Very good. Its not like the luxury of Toronto Japanese food, but its still a good meal for the price.

We found this restaurant a few years ago, then it was named "Osaka". Allready then was the Sushi fantastic. This year we found out, that the name of the restaurant has changed, but the sushi is still the same quality, just fabelous, great, wow..... The Owner recognized us immediately when we entered the place, after 2 years absence. We had... More

We happenstance found this bistro because it was close to our hotel. At first we couldn't find it because the doorway is recessed under a building. There are not any defining signs either to point it out. We stopped by before it opened, and walked over to a bar for a pre-dinner drink, and when we came back, we saw... More
