We went to this restaurant in hopes of getting nice, authentic indian food. The food they serve is nowhere near authentic indian food. They used mackerel for fish tikka, that too with bones. None of the curry dishes had any taste. Garlic naan were thick and rubbery with tinge of raw garlic. Biryani was worse than even tadaka rice that... More

Service was horrible! We received attention after 15 mins even when there were only 3 tables including ours in entire restaurant! Server started with order taking without even offering water or apologizing for the long wait. Food was below average with only food colors added to all the food we ordered! Fish tIkka was a whole mackerel (cheapest fish possible)... More

Went to these place with my friends n family for a first time, and it was a nightmare, service was pathetic, took us 10 min to get water at the table, we ordered fish tikka masala, on menu it didn't mention anything about fish with bones but when we actually got the fish, it had bones in it and fish... My family was visiting me and I had to find a place for the dinner. I knew my family had never try indian food before, so i decided to find a good restaurant for their first experience. Moreover, the following website was giving a voucher to have 35% discount on the food, it was perfect: http://www.restomontreal.ca/index.php?lang=en The menu had a... More

Wow, it is hard to read all the bad reviews after my 12+ experiences, all of which have been good to great. So, I'll hit what I like and dissect the other comments. Years ago I lived with several people from India and surrounding areas, so tasting this food was a trip back to those experiences - thus my comment... More

Recently went to this place while visiting Montreal and unfortunately had a lousy experience. First of all the waiter was indifferent and rude. Lacked basic courtesy to manage clients. Despite telling that one of us was allergic to eggs, he made no attempts to tell us that Vegetable pakoda had egg (who add eggs to pakoda`s mix). Casually mentions that... More

Visited this restaurant 3 times, and wasn't disappointed. Not the best service; however the food is good, and the atmosphere is lovely!

We live in the old montreal and we felt like encouraging this local restaurant. Food was an insult to indian cuisine. The only butter chicken in the world with no creamy sauce. Served dry. The rest of the food tasted literally bad. Do not go there ! Warning of the worse restaurant we have tried since ages !

Lots of choices, slow service despite being two out of four people in the restaurant at the time. Food was tasty, not terribly overpriced for the neighborhood but nothing to write home about. Wouldn't recommend it when there are so many other good restaurants in Montreal.
