Great Atmosphere

Deville has a surprising menu with eclectic drink choices. Come early as this place has no issues filling their seats. Want to come for lunch? Great, come for an early lunch. Dinner at Deville's? Sure, come before 6. This place is at a premiere location so it will be busy. We sat at the bar... read more

As I say in all of my reviews, we are a very picky family. We ended up at Deville after reading through several restaurant websites. This restaurant claims to be styled on New Jersey diner food, but as a resident of New Jersey I can tell you I have never been to a diner with food this delicious. The menu... More

The restaurant was very cool, good decor and a great selection of food you won't find anywhere else. I had a burger that was little tough to eat as it was close to 6 inches thick, but very tasty! Service (I ate at the bar) was outstanding

Went for my birthday as a group of friends and it was a great evening. The food was fantastic and the decor was lots of fun. I had the General Tao salad and it was amongst the finest salads I've ever had. The maple rotisserie chicken was also a big hit. The chocolate chip bread pudding for dessert was insane.... More

Visited Deville Dinner Bar with friends and family. The atmosphere is petty cool. The setup is like a diner but with a modern twist. Overall, the food was pretty good. They have all kinds of burgers and even a fish and chip on a brioche bun, which is what I ate. My 7 years old ordered Mac and cheese but... More

I heard about this place many times by my friends and I had to try it. The place is pretty cool itself, the decor is super nice. I had the Deville burger along with a Miami Vice (one of the best drinks that I've had) and it was pretty good. Yes they serve American food, but don't expect it to... More

In a old school / new school transformed ambiance, the best juicy burgers are served at the Deville Dinnerbar.

We went on a Thursday night and by 6pm, the place was packed. Lots of interesting food options (we had mac n cheese stuffed wontons, burgers and kids meals). The service was friendly and fast, the food was great, and the décor was cool. There is no kids menu, but they do have a few meals for kids which are... More

Interesting decor - hot pink and white. Bizarre food items like fried lasagne. Lots of one of a kind items I would have loved to try, but it's mostly very heavy - go with an appetite! Wish I could have sat downstairs because the loft area was a tight squeeze and loud.

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighborhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
