The coconut "macaron" was delicious and the ille coffee was a great way to start the day. The other pastries looked delicious also and we meant to go back for more, but didn't have time.

Paillete feuilletine is definitely a must-have. Caramel tastes great too. Pistache is nice but kinda bland compared to the rest. Aw I just regret not having had more.

I didn't make it to the store although it was on my list of places to shop during my trip because La Maison had set up shop at the Palais des Congress Mall for the Nutcracker Market. The macarons are absolutely delicious and beautiful in display and variety. I bought a large box as a gift for the office. May... More

Right before we left Montreal I realized I hadn't bought any macarons! Did a quick search on my iPhone and this place popped up (as being close to where we were while driving.) We were able to find parking on le la Roche up from the bakery. This place as a modern vibe. It really easy to go across the... More

I've discovered this place back in 2010 and I've been hooked ever since! I live in Toronto and I usually visit Montreal at twice a year. Since I discovered this macaron gem, I make it a point (AND UTTERLY INSIST UPON IT!) to take a trip to La Maison du Macaron before heading back to Toronto. Their macarons are a... More

so far the best macaroons i've had in town. A La Paris! They were so good so I ordered a 4 people size macaroon cake for a birthday, and it was amazingly delicious and reasonably priced. Adorable stuff. Cute boutique. p.s. They have a newly opened counter in Eaton Center. Great selections as well~

I visited Paris last summer and fell in love with french macarons. For comparison sake, my favourite macarons from Paris were from La Duree. I also tried macarons from Pierre Herme - they were also tasty but I found La Duree slightly better. While visiting Montreal, I decided to try out two macaron pastry shops - La Maison du Macaron... Amazingly priced, good size and very tasty! I've been all over montreal in search of a good macaron at a fair price ( Du Gascon (small and too expensive, Pain Dore ( not enough variety, pricy and tiny).
