Quality food for a very good price.

Good and fast service. Quality food for a very democratic price. It looks like a simple snack place, but the food is exceptional. Lemonade could be less sweet for my taste, but that's the only minor negative point! I will absolutely eat here again.

What a wonderful surprise to find Omnivore while walking on the Plateau. As the name suggests, there are several options for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. The salads were fresh and really tasty. We had a variety of wraps and platters with rice and kebab. We also enjoyed the freshly made lemonade and beet-apple-carrot juices. Definitely worth a repeat visit!

We discover the place when walking on st-laurent street. A real fine place to have some delicious sandwich and original salad you wont expect.Great fresh and innovative meal for a mid-afternoon. A great atmosphere too kind of a West-coast coffe shop or natural food shop. The place was busy for a saturday afternoon it's a good sing. Get in you... More

Good place for lunch (very busy though). Vegetarian options. The taboulé & the pasta salad are good choices. Great for light lunch.

Myself and my family decided to stroll down Saint-Laurent in Montral in hopes to come across somwhere delicious and quick to eat. Omnivore's unique exterior caught my eye so we decided to check out the menu. To our surprise the price was right so we went inside. I was very pleased with the menu as it had something for everyone... More

Fantastic mid-eastern food in Le Plateau, Montreal. The meat was beautifully cooked on the open grill, the salads were fresh and really taste and the overall experience was very enjoyable. Lots of people also pop in to takeaway. If you want something tasty, fresh and a bit different to what you might be used then try out Omnivore.

I've been coming here for about 2 yrs now. This is the type of place that makes me enjoy Montreal food scene. Small, affordable, quality ethnic restaurant that everyone can enjoy. You will come back to savour original menu choices (best orso salad and bacon jam in the universe) and friendly service without being too corny! Small con: a bit... More

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
