I really enjoy Le Filet, every time we go, we are never disappointed. They have a great menu with a bit of everything and also, the waiters are really knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere is nice and they have some outdoor seating for the summer. The service is very good and I just also have a nice time here, highly... More

Dining at Le Filet is an overall delightful treat! The popular restaurant features small plates that are substantial enough for sharing. Upon being seated we were greeted by our friendly and welcoming server who took drink orders and explained the small plate offerings. The wine list had a variety of choice both in wine selection and price range. The server... More

I visited this establishment earlier in August. I must say that overall the restaurant lived up to its much-hyped reputation. The host and bar service while we waited for our table was impeccable. Our cocktails were well-balanced and surprisingly not too pricy, and our table was available at the time reserved. Our initial contact with our server was decent, though... More

This was my 3rd dining experience at Le Filet, this summer alone. What a gem! Incredible food as usual and the flavours simply magnificent. You cannot compare the oysters to any other establishment. Must haves are the oysters miso gratin as well as the foie gras cavatelli. A special nod to the staff. They are incredible. They set the bar... More

On our recent visit to Quebec City and Montreal, we dined at Panache in Quebec City, and Brasserie T and Toque! In Montreal. All were highly rated, and we found them to be excellent, but on our last night we dined at Le Filet in Montreal. What a find! Each of our six dishes was excellent, as was the wine.... More

Le filet offers great food, there's no doubt about it. The decoration is also outstanding. The problem is definitely the noise which is absolutely excessive. If you can get a table on the small terrace, that would limit the noise level but you end up with the heavy car traffic on Mont Royal. It's unfortunate that the owners don't realize... More

We were 7 for this visit, and were given an early reservation to accommodate our "group". However, restaurant was not fully booked. Waiter pushed us to order 3 plates of the same item and this did not allow us to taste many dishes. And we had to accommodate a food restriction. Felt rushed and restricted.

What a great meal at Le filet. It may be the best meal I have had in years. I travel to many places around the world but the flavors in all the courses were fantastic. This is a food lovers paradise. Each course was just outstanding. It is on the expensive side but well worth the cost. The only negative... More

Went there as part of our wedding anniversary trip and it was the best choice we made while in Montreal. From the oysters to the snapper, the octopus to the lamb and finally the chocolate torte dessert... everything was served fresh, with impeccable timing and perfect attentiveness. We would definitely return.

First time in this little restaurant that has been getting rave reviews. The good: the menu is not too long, several fish dishes (refers to the restaurant name) and many meat dishes. We found ourselves more interested to the meat dishes this time. The portions are smaller and it is recommended you share a few. We had two appetizers: the... More
