Innovative food.

We've eaten here twice, both times as tourists. The food is very unique with creative pairings. The first time we went in Aug 13 was better than in Aug 14, where we found the food more staid.

I don't usually lead off with cosmetics, but have to here because Le Filet's modern interior design is the most beautiful I've seen in any Montreal restaurant. And does it ever attract the beautiful people—on my Friday-night visit, all the other guests were so well dressed and attractive that one could be forgiven for suspecting they were models hired for... What an incredible restaurant with amazing food. All portions are shareable which makes it interesting to discover as many as possible. The oysters are definitely a must and are offered raw or with a miso gratin. Also really enjoyed the scallops and the octopus. Ended with the delicious boileau venison with gnocci, blue cheese and almonds. This is a very... More

Stunning food presented in a small plate format. 3 of us shared 6 plates, a side of onion rings and 2 desserts. The pork flank and the tuna tartare are not to be missed. Highly recommend you start with a drink called the Swimming Pool. The wine list is excellent and reasonably priced with lots of French wines included. Our... More

we ate here twice and in spite on having in the group of four one allergic to seafood and the other to fish we ordered an assortment of dishes and had an exceptional meal, The service was good and we had great suggestions for the wine pairing, definetively we will return!

I ate at Le Filet last night and I want to write down my experience before I forget. We finished a photo shoot and asked one of the studio staff where we should go to dinner and he recommended Le Filet. We drove straight there as I had only 3 hours before a flight back to Toronto. Everything about our... More

I have had the pleasure of going to Le Filet for my birthday as well as to celebrate a friends birthday. I am a die hard foodie but I mostly love fine dinning. I enjoy everything from the friendly service, lovely terrace, beautiful plate presentations and delectable menu. Note the oysters are a MUST! If you want to spoil yourself... More

For a very special evening, please do consider Le Filet on Mount-Royal Ave in Montreal. The decor is modern and attractive, the food is super, Asian/French fusion and the staff is particularly attentive without being intrusive. The prices are on the high side but the presentation and the taste of each dish is well worth it. You pick a number... More

My favorite restaurant in town- by a mile. That tuna tartar is just ridiculous. 2 things; - the 'Eric' is the best dessert I've ever tasted -anywhere. - please bring the hon shimeji oysters back!!!!! This would be a michelin rated restaurant( don't know why Montreal doesn't have this system) in any other city!

Thoroughly enjoyed a dinner with my wife at Le Filet on Friday night. Everything was very well appointed and put together and the staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The Tartar was simply one of the best things I have ever eaten and was to die for, hats off to the chef. My only complaint was that our onion rings... More
