The food here is excellent in every manner. Taste, texture, colour, presentation are all here. Service was prompt and they good selection of wines with mostly private imports. The excellence comes with a price so don't be surprised. Highly recommended for the upscale eaters.

The tapas were beautiful to look at and amazingly good! The service was efficient but a bit cold. Had to ask for bread 2 rolls delivered....never asked re wanting more. Very very expensive but outstanding meal. Portions small for the price. $16. For veg dish .....omount of Brussels sprouts cauliflower & squash ridiculous. Wd have liked candlelight to warm up... This restaurant serves only appetizer, similar to tapas but difference it is a smaller entree plate instead of bite size item. The food taps into a variety of influence but with a strong Japanese influence. Everything was at least very good with 4-5 plates that were amazing. They have their owner bakery chef, so dessert are not to be missed.... More

First time dining at Le Filet and the experience was superb! The menu is in three sets, the waiter explains everything, makes suggestions and is very attentive but not pushy. The really emphasize the wine and food combinations. My wife and I went with our waiters recommendation of sharing five dishes, you pick any five from the three sets. The... More

We ordered 6 dishes as a couple. Every dish was outstanding though small. The only trouble was that they came exactly ONE dish at a time (even with 2 people at the table) with a very very long pause in between. We would have liked 2 or 3 dishes at a time for sharing. They didn't take away the one... More

We invited a few clients over for dinner and everyone at the table felt like it was one of their best meal in a while. A lot of fresh and awesome fish dishes, some meats, the service is friendly yet super professional, without hesitation a 9 out of 10 ! On the expensive side but totally worth it. Highly recommended.

All plates were excellent and beautifully presented. Service was excellent and very understanding of our friends who were rather late. The wine list is great and affordable--not common for this type of foodie place, but very much appreciated. Sure these "tapas" are on the pricey side, but they are worth every penny. I can't wait to go back. We would... More

This is a very popular restaurant with great local reviews. What is misleading is the menu is provided in small dishes that are designed for 2 people. If you are a couple, it is a great way to sample a variety of tastes--although each plate is surprisingly expensive for what you get. We were a party of 4 and we... More

Very good restaurant. Decor and service are alright for this level of restaurant but nothing spectacular. Food is very good although no one dish really wow us. Reasonable prices for very good quality. Definitely recommend this place. Maybe I was a little disappointed bc of such high expectations from earlier reviews.

We ate at le Filet last evening and were very impressed. The selection of small plate entrees was diverse and each was outstanding in presentation and composition. It was recommended to have 5 plates and this was perfect. will definitely return.
