Beautiful place, nice outside terrace & good food

We stopped by at Voro's and had their panko french toast with porchetta & maple bechamel along with salmon gravlax. We were also served buttered home made bread & blueberry jam. We went to Voro for the brunch and our experience was terrific. We have waited 1hour before receiving the first plates and our waitress was totally lost. She got back 3 times to confirm the order and finally mixed up our beverages and plates. One of our friend never received her plates. No apologies, no smile. The only reason why... More

We stopped in at Voro for a bite to eat. We were six friends. Just walking into Voro from the icy December night was like walking into a living room. It was warm and welcoming. Even with the high ceilings, the place has an intimate feel. A great place for six people to talk, drink and eat. The food was... More

Me and my partner arrived at the restaurant and the girl from the bar told us to sit in a dirty table. The place was empty and we waited 10min and nobody came assist us. We left the restaurant to eat at another place right next door.

We had a nice time here with a large group. The food was good and the atmosphere appealing. Plus Fairmount bagels is right down the street so we picked some up afterwards.

I ate here a few weeks ago when visiting Montreal - there were 4 of us for Sunday brunch. The menu has lots to offer - and we all ordered different dishes and they were all really good. The only comment that kept me from giving this place an excellent rating was the bkfast potatoes that came with our meals... More

I just went to Voro for a lunch/ brunch with a friend. First of all, having lots of space and not feel like you are sitting on people's lap during brunch is a welcome change. The food was good. Simple and tasty. to comment on an earlier review: the prosciutto wrapped asparagus IS really salty- you know why??? because prosciutto... More

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
