What really puzzles me about this place is that no one seems to have picked up on it, and copied the format. It is fabulous. You have a selection of raw tartare meats - Hamachi, salmon, tuna (of course), as well as beef, duck, and others to combine with an imaginative selection of sauces. (Some of the more popular sauces... More

We ran into this by accident, while looking for a light bite to eat late at night. It's oriented toward drinks, but their menu looked interesting, and so even though we don't drink, we gave it a try. It was very good—particularly the seared ahi tuna. Actually, the whole fish menu looked terrific. The fresh-baked chocolate-chip-cookie dessert was delicious. The... More

This charming corner restaurant in hip part of Montreal specializes in tartare, and the kitchen does a pretty good job! We ordered the beef tartare, and it was amazing -- so authentically French. Others in our table ordered the spicy tuna tartare and tuna tartare Italian style, both as delicious. The lobster salad Japanese style was good. Try the kale... More

so here is the deal. To the last two reviewers, this site is meant for putting in your experience at a restaurant!! not bashing it for fun. Contamination can happen at any point. From what he said on the radio, several food inspectors have been to the restaurant, unannounced, and the cleanliness was not the issue. It was clear the... More

The 5@7 are great here since the drinks are less expensive and the tartar is great and there are a lot of variations. Not necessarely the best tartar I've had, but it nonetheless delicious! The concept of the menu is great and gives you so many options that's it's actually hard to choose (all of them look yummy). i would... More

Hands down the best tartar I have had ever. You choose your protein and preparation style and the staff prepares the most amazing raw food ever. I highly recommend it!

Was here a couple of weeks ago at lunch time. When we arrived it was quiet but the place filled up quickly. It was nicely decorated and had a good atmosphere. I had the arugula and goat cheese salad along with a salmon tartar and it was all delicious! I love the concept where you can chose your type of... More

I visited Marché 27 at the end if May with a friend from out of town. He was late but the waitress seated me and let me order ahead of time as we were in a hurry. She patiently explained the menu to me and then re-explained what the different tartares on the plate were once my guest arrived. We... More

I love this place. It's small, cute and cozy and the food is delicious. There's a big variety of meats/fish and you can choose the seasoning following an extensive list of choices. There are also a couple of nice tasting platters with an assortment of different tartares. Have your tartare with the cripsy matchstick fries and pair it all with... More

Interesting bar-restaurant with nice decor and good food. Many different meats or fish prepared in many styles to suit your taste in tartare. Side dishes are varied and nice presented. A completely different experience.
