Great find for us excellent service

Very good service at the bar, they could not find us a table. The lamb tartar and cauliflower appetizers were excellent. The main dish veal for me was good but not great and the duck was also tasty but tough.

The food at Bouillon Bilk was incredibly good. Best ingredients, interesting and different meals, very good service. Like many popular restaurants, however, it is very noisy and crowded. But I'll go again next time I'm in Montreal because the food was just so good.

I went to try their dinner and lunch. Both time, I loved it! My friends want to go back, except it is bit expensive so we can't afford to eat here that often. Starting with their homemade bread that is so amazing and everything that a bread should be to the desserts...every bite was taking us to an exotic place... More

We had dinner at Bouillon Bilk and were very impressed with the food and service. We had the amuse bouche, sea urchin linguini, foie gras and duck. All were very tasty and surprisingly good portions. The servers were all very friendly and down to earth. I would highly recommend this place and go back in a heartbeat. Thanks for a... More

The best restaurant in Montréal hands-down. Very down-to-earth vibe and star-worthy food. The service was incredible and we had the nicest waiter ever. I recommend this place to anyone who seeks a fantastic and exclusive meal in a not-too-chique environment. 😍

I had a dinner with my wife. When we arrived at the restaurant at 19:30, the restaurant was almost full of the guests. Half dozens of the oyster was tasty just with the lemon juice. Hamachi with yuzu was delicious with beautiful presentation. For main course, the duck was tasty while the veal was not outstanding for its cost. The... More

We were only in Montreal for a few days and a friend who lives there said this was her favorite restaurant. We reserved two seats at the bar, which we do not normally do, but the tables were booked and the bar ended up being the ideal place for us. All the courses were an amazing combination of fresh, flavorful... More

We were looking for somewhere different before attending the festival and this was it. The food was awesome and atmosphere great and the service, very good. The only problem was actually trying to find the hotel as you walk along the street, and you google map it, we were across the street and said it must be closed down as... More

This white, friendly restaurant, was : expensive, crowded, and long waiting. Definitely not a family restaurant. Will not be coming back any time soon.

This handsome, totally white, restaurant is clearly very popular in Montreal - and it deserves to be. Although on the expensive side, it is worth it. The food is excellent and the service is outstanding. Our server explained the composition of each menu item and special in great detail - and then did the same thing for the next table... More

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
