LOVED this place - great young vibe and interesting menu. Wished we could have stayed for a full dinner but had plans elsewhere. Opted for cocktails (very unique and tasty) and the delicious veal tartare - awesome! Would come back for a full meal in a heartbeat. Service was fantastic.

Second time at this place. Food extra fresh, service extra personal, atmosphere noisy but fun. Share 6 different dishes. All made from super fresh ingredients and to perfection. Arctic char was spectacular and so was the turbot sausage. Best part however was the wine, Barra Mensicino Sauvignon. Spectacular!

It is really good food but i really wanted to like it more. I was expecting more! Good service, good attention, good food, but not the best i had, specially for the price you pay. And the service was slow. We had the tasting menu, i get that it is supposed to be longer, but 3hours???

Visited from USA. Ordered the tasting menu for the 2 person table, plus the wine. Turned out to be a 6 course meal that night. Wow was it good. Presented with great detail about each dish. Every course was excellent. It was not cheap, but well worth it as it was a tasting experience.

We made a reservation for this restaurant and had to change it due to a delayed flight, traffic was so bad we were having trouble getting there before it was almost too late for dinner. The staff was sooo understanding and accommodating, they welcomed us in anyway and never made us feel bad or rushed, although I am sure some... More

Excellent and creative restaurant in the Old Town area. Not a touristy restaurant like the ones closer to Old Port, but closer to Hotel de Ville and the Champ de Mars metro. The tasting menu innovative and delicious. The dress is casual which gives it a comfortable atmosphere. The tasting menu included fresh, vibrant ingredients which produced colorful, beautiful dishes... More

For $22 you get 2 courses, add dessert for $5 more. The atmosphere is gorgeous and the food is spectacular. Right in Old Montreal, this is a beautiful restaurant with a great little craft beer list and wonderful service and food. I would eat here every day if I could. The arctic char and rabbit were fantastic. The cold carrot... More

Very accommodating to vegetarians with uber delicious and creative selections. Wine pairings were exceptionally handled by William. A night we will not soon forget. Highly recommended for a special occasion or when you feel like treating yourself with must be one of Montreal's best restaurants.

Boudin Blanc was super yum. Catfish was very good also. All my colleagues enjoyed their courses too. Excellent wine list. Modern and airy dining room.

Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighborhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic center of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its center, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theater.
