Having been to Le Hangar several times for business functions, I was happy to reccomend it for an evening out with friends. Walking in the ambience hits you - sleek and sophisticated, modern and warm. The restaurant is a bit hard to spot, it being blended into the other brick industrial buildings of the area - make sure to have... More

Le Hanger was not our destination when we made our dinner plans. However, due to weather and some other unplanned events we ended up in Le Hanger and we did not regret it. The service was great. They were able to find us a nice table even though the place was full and we had 6 people in our party.... More

I invited my team to the restaurant today just before the Holidays. I had heard good things about this restaurant. The atmosphere was nice. The entrée was an ok salad, and the desert, a little portion of chocolate ice cream, cranberries and caramel was good but little, did I mention little...I keep the main dish for the end: lamb. I... For starters, let me begin this review by expressing just how DELICIOUS the food is at this establishment, most people have the tendency to glace over the first few lines and neglect to read what could be vital information. I would definitely keep reading… Here comes the nitty-gritty. We had made reservations 3 weeks prior to attending our 9pm engagement... More

Beautiful urban chic restaurant a few blocks south of downtown Montreal, the Hangar is known for great food, friendly service and reasonable prices. The wine cellar is well stocked and the somnelier is quick to find you the perfect wine for your meal. When you go, definitely try the arancini, the homemade meatballs, and if you still have room ...... More

Went on a Saturday night, a group of 3 couples. We all really enjoyed everything about this place and would definitely go back! Location is only going to get better and better as Griffintown develops (for now you can park right outside on the street....way better than the Plateau :-) The interior had a trendy loft / converted warehouse feel,... My most recent visit here was for brunch, although I've been here for dinner as well. The space is amazing - warehouse chic with large windows, soaring ceilings and modern decor. It is filled with light during the day and has a warm glow in the evening. The best part about it is it is not too large and not... More

We all commented how despite the music we were still able to talk without yelling as happens in some open concept restaurants. The service is great and the food was very nice but over-priced. I had sea bass which I liked but my husband thought was tasteless. Our friend ordered the veal which he did not like at all. An... More
