Is this restaurant still open?

I called to make a re4servation today and the phone number was wrong. I also have not seen any reviews for it in over a year. I have been to l'un des sens twice and loved it both times, so if its still around Id love to go again.

I liked the greeter who was friendly and accommodating. Food was served relatively quickly and good , except I wish the menu would clarify between crepes Breton and pancakes. I plan to go back to try the yogurt and fruit dish .. It was cold inside the restaurant despite the fact we were far from the door.. Definitely make reservations... More

Went to the resto with the hubby and two friends. Service was attentive and focussed on the food and wine, as any restaurant's should be. And the food was indeed good. A friend and I opted for the degustation, 60$ for 6 dishes, with paired wine accompaniment for 35$ (more on this below). The kitchen took in stride our preferences... More

Although the food was very good with an interesting menu, I was disappointed with the choice of wine and our waitress was a bit too enthusiastic for my liking (tried too hard and was more of an entertainer than a server). The menu offered 3 courses for $33, 4 courses for $44 and 5 courses for $55. The portions were... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Every dish was interesting and well-prepared. The desserts were delicious. Our server explained the dishes in mouth-watering terms and even brought a sample of an ingredient that one of our party was not familiar with. The bartender created a cocktail for me that was not on the menu when I described what I liked. All... More

So lovely on our first visit that we had to return for a second one. On our first visit, we shared two fish and four meat dishes. Each plate was imaginative and superbly flavoursome, particularly the fish of the day served with citronella clam juice and the rabbit which had a beautiful smokey glaze. Service was attentive and friendly (whether... More

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
