Description: Chez Chose offers a menu from a blackboard. This menu varies depending on the season and the products from our providers, each and every one of them Quebec's very own craftsmen. It also varies following the fantasies of our chef Marie-France Desrosiers whom plays around the products we receive, maintaining a fresh and seasonal selection. May it be foie gras, vegetables, rabbit, guinea fowl regardless of the delivery, she will lay in your plate a joyful mix of flavours . The perfect brew of our local farmers' hard work and the genius of Marie-France has made Chez Chose something... Grandiose. Have a taste, you will see....

The menu varies from day to day, depending on what's available. The food is very inventive (tomato-strawberry gazpacho, for example), perfectly cooked, and exquisitely presented. It's expensive, but for a special meal, it's worth every cent. The ambiance is lovely and the music selection was fabulous. I wish they sold a CD of their music. We split the foie gras... More

This is actually my first day on trip advisor, so our visit was last yr. But I couln't sign on without writing a review. From start to finish this is the best restaurant we've eaten at period. Everything we had was so fresh, tasty, and perfectly cooked. Our experience was even made better with the owner, a really pleasant and... More

This was our first visit to the new location of Chez Chose, but certainly not the last. The new space is larger and more stylish than the previous location on St. Denis. The food was, as always, delicious and inventive. Everyone in our party enjoyed the starters and mains (and we tried, in total, 11 different dishes), and the wines... More

My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for years, first at their old St-Denis location and now at their new location on Bélanger. Their new space is bigger and absolutely gorgeous, with the same blackboard menu for which they are known. The food is always fresh and delicious, with fabulous takes on culinary favorites. The staff is... More

We came to this restaurant to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary. The host, one of the owners of this cozy place, was very accommodating. The menu was presented to us on a portable blackboard. The waiter explained the main items, made excellent recommendations and was available to answer our questions. My wife had the lobster - beautifully prepared. I opted... More

This is a family owned restaurant. They offer an excellent service, very genuine! We went last week and we are coming back this friday to have more of that delicious lobster! Their menu changes all the time given that they use local products which change according to the season, therefore I am rushing my husband and my friends to come... More

Went for Mother's Day with wife/daughter (4th visit - consistently excellent). Staff do a great job of explaining their eclectic dishes/ingredients. My 14 year old ordered foie gras for her first time (and last on my tab!) and loved it. Excellent service, good wine assistance. Highly recommended - not cheap, but value for money.

Our son, a student at McGill, recently moved to this area, so we were trying out one of the nearby restaurants and had a great experience. We had 5 people, none of whom spoke French, so our waiter kindly interpreted the many dishes on the nightly blackboard with good humor and grace. We all started with the salad de moment... More

We had an all-around–delightful experience at our Friday-night dinner here. We ordered the 5-course tasting menu (6, if you count the amuse bouche, that night a delicious rabbit pâté) with wine pairings. The food was French bistro fare with a twist, clearly not aiming to be as refined as gourmet cuisine, but no less inventive in terms of the interesting... More
