My wife and I had an amazing dinner. Thanks for the recommendation from Gerry at the Intercontinental. The owner came over and chatted in Italian to my wife who obviously speaks Italian. The food, the courtesy, the “I want to make you feel comfortable” was exactly what we wanted. Food was plenty, staff was attentive. Seriously we are going back... More

As Good as your Grandmother food if not better.... It shows the chef makes his food with Love. We're there for our Christmas party and we all enjoyed it. We had grilled octopus and calamari as a starter which was great. I then had the pappardelle pasta that was cooked to perfection. Everybody loved their meal! Will definitely go back.

I ordered the mushroom risotto which was delicious, the only complaint was that is was full of onions(not my favorite) but still great in flavor. I had a crème brulee which was nice and creamy, but it was a little too chilled for my liking could have been a little more room temp, but this did not keep me from... More

The food was excellent and the service was even better. (The busboy heard us saying that our wine wasn't as chilled as we like it and here comes the waitress offering to replace with a new bottle right of the cellar) Risotto was out of this world. Portions were generous and the place was very cozy.

At the recommendation of our hotel's concierge, we visited Quattro for dinner. We were warmly greeted by friendly staff and one of the owners. The entire meal was wonderful. The food delicious, very fresh ingredients, simply prepared and elegantly presented. My husband is Italian so he's very critical of Italian restaurants and their food - seldom finding enjoyment. However, Quattro... More

We had reservations for two on a busy Friday night when our daughter and her husband wanted to join us for desert. At first, one waiter reluctantly said it it was not possible, but another (the boss?) said not problem and was most welcoming. I like the Spaghetti Putanesca, but my wife said her Carré di Agnello was just okay.... More

My wife and I visited Montreal last week and ate twice in Quattro. The atmosphere was great, high ceilings, nicely spaced tables and extremely friendly and helpful staff. The owner was a delight. First visit, I started with a fabulous onion soup followed by a delicious halibut dish. My wife had gnocchi with tomato sauce, which she said was delicious.... More
