The food is Italian and its great but the host/owner sets this place apart from any other with his joie de vivre. Like being part of the family here. Conveniently located near Old Montreal and municipal offices; latter is the source of many customers during the week. Everybody loves this guy.

We made reservation for dinner the second night of our honeymoon as our super-fancy dinner and boy did we make the right choice. We were greeted warmly at the door in Italian (my brain took a few seconds to make the transition since I had been working extra hard on my French) and shown to our table, right in the... More

My husband and I recently had dinner at Quattro during a visit to Montreal. It was our best meal in the city. The host (who I believe is also the owner) is a charming, gregarious man. Although, I have to admit that his charm wore a little thin when it took him 20 minutes to bring us a vodka tonic... More

Lacking character and ambiance, Quattro offers average/ good food that ranges from tough cullimari to sensational truffled penne. The deserts, while good, tend toward store bought vs made in house. The wine list is entirely italian and a bit limited. Service is a choppy and brusque. We won't dine here again.

My family enjoyed the location and atmosphere in this Italian restaurant. While they did not have a children's menu, children can get half orders. Our girls shared their Mac and cheese entre and loved it. My wife and I both enjoyed our meals as well. It can be expensive depending on what you order but many of the entrees are... More

After making a reservation online, my husband and I had no issues getting a table. The food was very fresh. The Amuse-bouche was bruchetta. I had a pineapple melon martini (it was good, but not $15 good). We had the minestrone and mix salad to start. The minestrone had a very flavorful broth, but lacked pasta or beans. The salad... More

Nino was so kind to accommodate our large party. Food was most excellent. Fillet, perfectly prepared. Veal preparation was tasty. Ask Nino for his hot sauce, nectar of the Gods.

The owner makes this restaurant - he radiates love for this place! Food was really delicious - between the three of us we tried quite a number of things and I think we all think we had the best thing. Would go back. Only negative - our waitress didn't live up to the quality of everything else. Slow, forgetful, not... More

We went with a large group here - Sophie was our waitress and the owners were there and quite friendly. The food was great - especially the veal chop. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are in old town.

We were staying at a hotel in Old Town Montreal and wanted a place away from the main area of Old Town. They suggested Quattro - located in the same block as the Notre Dame Basilica, opposite side of the street. We totally enjoyed our meal and the ambiance. Even though we had never been to the restaurant before, we... More
