This is a very good bring your own wine restaurant, it's worth popping your good bottles for, the service is very good and so is the ambiance.

We just visited Montreal and had 3 amazing dinners, the restaurants were ranked #3, #4 and #71 on trip advisor, the latter being this one, but Le Quartier General was my favourite by a mile. Food is insanely good. We all ordered the table d'hote which gives you either a soup or salad, an appetizer, an entrée and dessert. The... More

This restaurant is a little gem of goodness (on top of being a BYOW). The food is freshly prepared, regionally selected and exquisitely presented; the wait staff are knowledgeable and friendly; the atmosphere charming and cozy; and the prices super affordable (I told them to raise them!). The only downside -- You need a reservation -- because this restaurant is... More

After finally getting a reservation at this restaurant, I can honestly say I wasn't that impressed. I read many good reviews but unfortunately I left disappointed. The food was just ok, nothing special. The veal chop was good but the best thing we ate was the dessert. The lemon curd cake and the vanilla creme brule were both amazing. We tried... More

I cannot say enough about the excellent food and service we enjoyed in this warm and inviting restaurant. It was during the Highlights Festival and a special 6 course feast was on offer - all local and regional delicacies prepared with love and artistic flair. Each dish was a unique taste sensation. I especially savoured the duck prociutto, the trout... More

I haven't been to this restaurant yet but I can not simply understand that, how come it can take 4 hours to reply a reservation request for a restaurant? I sent them a reservation request at 12 30PM afternoon and received an email 4 hours after, which is basically declining my reservation request and claiming that they are fully booked... More

We travel to Montreal a couple of times a year and are always on the lookout for those little out of the way restaurants with good food and atmosphere so on the recommendation of a work colleague we tried Quartier General. A short 15 minute walk from the Laurier Metro station, it lived up to our expectations. It is very... More

We visited this Bring Your Own Wine restaurant on a rainy Wednesday evening, and yet it was full and with a vibrant atmosphere. My wife had the veal chop while I had the rabbit; both excellent. Our server Lucie was most attentive and could describe each dish, in French and English, with great flair and enthusiasm. Noisy, but warm and... More

We went to this restaurant on a recent trip to Montreal. Although we were there three weeks ago, I'm still thinking about the meal we had. The service was impeccable, the food was seriously out of this world, and the atmosphere was perfect. My husband, stepson and I all got different appetizers, main courses and desserts so we could try... More

Our reservation was for 6:30 PM and our tour was running late. The hotel manager called to hold our table. The service, food and pricing was exceptional. We were seated next to a wine sales-rep who was very impressed by our bottle of French wine brought from the states. Do not miss this gourmet opportunity when in Montrreal.
