Great food!

Celebrated my birthday here with my girlfriend and I must say I was impressed. The service was decent, the ambiance was cozy and the food was perfect. Definitely will go again. Do get a reservation because it is quite small. The table d'hôte was around 50$ and included 4 services (including desert), which isn't too expensive. It's BYOB so what... More

If you want to have a chance at a table, you need to make a reservation because this little gem is well known and for a good reason: everything is great. The service is polite and well done, the menu is always good and interesting, and you can bring your own wine. Please indulge yourself to a good bottle, it... More

We went last night. First of all we discovered that their 2 services per evening policy is every day. It is 6.30 to 9 and 9 until closing. Personally I hate this. Secondly, the Plateau which is the borough in which this restaurant is located has very limited parking, plus they do not appear to plow the streets of snow.... More

Love the atmosphere, very friendly staff always. This place is always packed which says a lot to me. I chose the lemon curd dessert once, which I would never normally opt for. I did it because the preceding dishes were so amazing that I knew a dessert I wouldn't normally like would blow me away at this place. It did!

We enjoyed the lamb and duck which came with a soup or salad. All of those items were excellent. We also enjoyed the scallops. The cheesecake dessert in a jar was pretty good. We thought the prices for the quality were very reasonable and we loved bringing our own wine without any corkage fee. Service here was the best we... More

I love Quartier Géneral, the place is hidden on a small street, they have only a few seatings with a fireplace, it's nice and cosy, the staff is awesome and smart to remember everything they have to tell you for each dish, it's really impressive. The food match everybody expectations at the table and a huge plus for the bring... More

I've been there a couple times and never been disappointed! Service is excellent, food is tasteful and the price...! Add 12$ to the price of the main course and you get soup or salad, appetizer, main course and dessert. WOW! For a little extra, I definitely recommend the Foie Gras! Served with a donut and caramelized peaches, this is heaven... More

Excellent service. Open kitchen. Add $12 to any main and get appetizer and desert include. Had the pumpkin soup. Delicious. Veal loin was cooked perfectly. Portions are reasonable. Son hand the pork loin. Also very tasty. Duck marget was cooked just right and came with lentils. Very nice. Very nice atmosphere and better food than you would expect for a... More

We went to Quartier General last night (Saturday) for the first time and we were very impressed by the food, the service and the ambiance. They are saying this restaurant is a bistro style restaurant but for me, the food served in this restaurant is a few notches over this. We were a party of 5 and "everybody" was impressed... More

Restaurant specialties are wild meat. Duck, rabbit, deer, ... Ambiance is OK, but feel too close to neighbor tables. Decor is so-so. Service was pretty good, and waitress explained in great detail the various items on the menu. However, the deception was the food itself. Deer appetizer tasted nothing, veal main dish was hard and tough to chew. Rabbit was... More
