Great for conference

I attended a conference, where we initially Met here for the first day with workshops. It has a great placement in the park and food is fine. Good spaces for workshops as well.

This was a great place to stop and opt into a little sit down, but quickly prepared sandwich. We chose the prosciutto mozzafina and the duo poulet naan sandwiches (the duo came with a side salad and we chose the cucumber/tomato one), both of which were extremely good, as well as a cafe mocha and a hot chocolate. We managed... More

This coffee bar is located perfectly to visit the sights in old Montreal. The food is good if you are looking for a panini or wrap and a cup of coffee. The seating arrangement is a bit challenging if you are more than two people so you won't want to stay long.

Enjoyed the atmosphere, coffee and cookies when in town last week. Coffee was excellent and the best we had while in Montreal.

Good coffee. Great croissants. Great to pick up coffee on your way out. Not really an eat-in establishment. Got coffee from here a few times on our trip. Not a disappointment. Friendly service with a smile.

We visited twice on as we were made to feel so welcome & we enjoyed the food. Highly recommend popping in if you are in old Montreal - very close to Notre Dame!

Right off the Place d'Armes, unpretentious cafe with posters in the entry way in the surprisingly named "British Empire Building." Extremely good panini ciabatta - I and the teen had it grilled with prosciutto, mozzarella and tomato. A delicious little hot chocolate for us each as well.

We found this coffee place when we were walking around Old Montreal area, so sure it has perfect location where you can take a seat and take some rest while enjoying their local drinks and snacks. I had the perfect espresso and tasty chicken naan wrap. It's so tasty that I ordered two actually! I was lucky cause I took... More

I went to Montreal for vacations with my Wife and a friend. And after reading a couple of reviews we decided to try different places and later this one. And thank goodness because all other places were ok, but this one… we went every single day of our stay for our afternoon coffee. Very warming owner and employees. The owner... More

Came here looking for a place to sit and enjoy some coffee before our flight, we found this neat little cafe and decided to sit in, the owners are very polite and accommodating, we only got some tea and coffee, but nonetheless, it's still a very enjoyable and relaxing place, I would recommend it.

Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighborhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic center of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its center, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theater.
