Staff not aware of gluten free plates

The wait staff took some convincing about my need for a gluten free diet - seems they were unaware of coeliac / celiac disease and the strict need for a gluten free diet. Once that was rectified and the kitchen agreed it was able to provide a meal - everything was fine. It was a battle to educate... read more

We were celebrating with a group of colleagues an decide to go to this pseudo bistro.....Unfortunately I order the lentil soup and literally it was a CAN OF TOMATO SOUP with some added lentils (it was not bad it was awful), the wind included with the menu tasted more like vinegar than wine, last the dessert.....I not really sure for... This wasn't a pleasant experience and that is why I go out to eat, especially with friends but when your night out is ruined by a rude staff and horrible service, it just sucks. Our waitress failed to bring us waters, was so late with our appetizers they arrived cold (and tasteless) and they were overall difficult. Will not be... More

My experience in this restaurant is as follows: When arriving we were greeted by a hostess that didnt know in which table to place us. The place was kind of empty since it was an early dinner and we got a table away from the windows on the seocnd floor. We were told the other tables were reserved. Well interesting... More

We went here for nye...paid $160 each for what we thought would be a lovely evening with friends. But unfortunately had a horrible start to 2014. Let me preface this by saying I had NO alcohol all day and no drinks at dinner aside from water so I definitely was by no means drunk. The menu started off with an... More

Had lunch with a client at B&B as I wanted to taste their Burger Week creation before the week ended. Overall, I was very pleased with the restaurant. Food: Very good Burger Week creation (mac n cheese burger) and a terrific beet salad. My guest enjoyed his steak very much Waitress: Very polite and profesisonal, apologized for the INSANE delay... Went to Montreal in early August to see the sights. We arrived in the early evening and needed a place to eat. After walking around we found Bar & Boeuf. What an amazing place, wonderful atmophere and staff. Our waiter was caring and helpful. All decided to have the 1855 Black Angus. That was the right choice, the meat was... More

Most enjoyable. The company we were with were also very pleasant and good friends. The service was truly exceptional for these times of get in, eat and get out. The waiters seemed to CARE and were responsive to any comment or question. The menu choices were very elaborate and sophisticated. The also came with what we considered surprises, like relatively... We arrived fairly early at 6:45 on a Saturday night. The first thing you see is the beautiful bar with beautiful people sitting and sipping martinis. There weren't many diners there yet and we were led to a quiet table in the corner. The restaurant is beautiful with romantic lighting and tall ceilings and lots of tall windows. The servers... Staying in Quartier International

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier International
Designed to connect and beautify unused space, today the Quartier International is like a transversal piece of modern art. The distinctive design flair is most apparent at its focal point, the Palais des Congres, a convention center and retail space with a multi-colored glass exterior and an equally bold interior motif. Outdoors too, the Quartier is friendly towards public art exhibits along its stylish, plotted city squares, with extra-wide sidewalks meant to encourage long strolls and shaded benches available for absorbing the atmosphere. Fresh air and promenades characterize the area, from the foliage of Victoria Square to the fountain of Place Jean-Paul Riopelle, while the restaurants along Rue Saint-Antonie Ouest and Metro stops modeled in the Parisian style give off European glamour.
