Great sports bar with traditional English pub fare. Watched the US/Belgium world cup soccer match here - upstairs was all team USA, downstairs, Belgium. Well, we know who was happier. Located on Notre Dame west of center city.

A true British pub with true British fare. Service is fun, beers are great and the food has big tasty portions. Atmosphere is great for the big games. Always hopping

I have been a number of times and never disappointed. I am eagerly awaiting the opening of the sidewalk terasse and a nice tall draft!

From what I have read on the reviews I guess it is better to go in the morning or in the evening because at night there is no service whatsoever. I found this particular waitress rude. I have been there for a second time and I believe that will be my last try. If you expect smiley staff and efficient... More

If Polo sticks and some football paraphernalia maketh a British pub, then I was in one. Sadly, it doesn't. Add to that huge screens with sport on, and I may as well pop down the local Wetherspoons here in the UK. We went for a social event, and in that respect the brunch gathering worked well. But the food...well, to... More

I don't know where to begin. It took ages to get a table, the servers are uninterested, the food is sub par and it is overpriced for a pub. While they do have an impressive beer selection, the food is underwhelming and pedestrian.

I have eaten at the Burgundy Lion many times now, and have yet to be disappointed by my meal. Great flavours, nice sized portions, and the waiters are polite/attentive. I really enjoy their music selection, although it might be a tad too loud for some.

Great food and atmosphere. Pricey given the type of food. And it can get very noisy. But I like it. Great hamburgers and fish and chips.
