The food was fine, but the cocktails were excellent and the atmosphere was good. Overall nothing to write home about, but decent. Nice live music when we were there. Professional service.

the neighbourhood is becoming pretentious and crowded. the charm is being sucked out of the streets by upscale restos and bars. the grocery stores are way too expensive and there is def no parking....

Great casual bistro ambiance, with a live jazz singer. Nice industrial loft decor with high ceilings and genuine brick walls. We had a great and friendly service. Prices are reasonable. They offer awesome unusual cocktails. Food we had was really fresh and very good. My magret (duck breast) salad was simply delicious! We will come back again for sure…

I just went back to the Griffintown Café (now just called the Griffintown?) after Notre Dame Street finally got rid of its construction. I went there for brunch on a Sunday and expected a line up. It was half empty. Not a good sign I said to myself - as this used to be a bustling joint in Griffintown. First... More

Just terrible service. It took them an hour to make our lunch, which was not fantastic. There was awful drillig noise from outside and yet they had the door open.

We've been here several times for brunch and it's always constant ! for us that's important, you may wait a little but that's part of Sunday brunch... Reasonably priced and nice vibe.

Had brunch here. Had read that Eggs Benedict was 'the best ever'. Was average at best in my opinion...Potatoes were cold/warm, and the salad was like the left-over salad you might have in your fridge from last night's dinner...Service was prompt and friendly though. Many other options in Montreal. Will likely not return.

We’ve loved Café Griffintown for several years now. Their jazz or blues nights are a must,…and there is always a warm atmosphere. It’s a great place for a Friday night dinner, or to grab brunch on the weekend. The food is always as great as the décor and ambiance. In December 2013, I chose the Griffintown to organize a surprise... More

I recently went to Griffintown with my partner to have brunch and it was a great experience. I ordered the Canadian Breakfast/Brunch and it was delicious, the bacon was cooked to perfection and so were the potatoes. The atmosphere inside was very relaxed and the staff are very friendly, exactly what one needs on a Saturday morning while touring the... More

This is a great little restaurant with a funky and comfortable atmosphere. During two visits, the wait staff were friendly and professional and the food was very good. Our Eggs Benedict with home-made gravlax was the best Eggs Benedict we have ever had. We dropped in for breakfast and it was so good we made reservations for dinner and jazz... More
