On a weekend trip to Montreal we decided, based on reviews here, to try this little neighborhood bistro. We arrived a few minutes early for our reservation, but were warmly greeted and shown to a table. The service was very warm and friendly, amused by our horrible french she patiently explained the menu - in english. Taught us a little... More

This is an excellent dish. The cod was perfectly cooked and the sauce was a beautiful compliment to the fish.

After four days of eating and drinking my way thro Montreal I ventured into this wonderful tiny gem! After experiencing a bit of English disdain in many other places I was welcomed by a wonderful lady. A completely French menu that was very foreign to me she took the time to explain each item. I will difinatley be back! The... More

My partner and I went here after seeing the good reviews on Tripadvisor. We made a reservation about an hour in advanced and had no problem finding the place in a nice residential neighborhood. We got the Foie Gras Au Torchon (duck liver), Tartare De Boeuf (finely chopped raw beef) and the Confit De Canard (leg of duck) which were... More

Trip Advisor led me to reserve at Bistro Duo.D, and well in advance, and we couldn't have been more delighted with our gastronomic experience there. We were two couples spending a wonderful weekend in Old Montreal, all of which we enjoyed, but our Saturday dinner at Bistro Duo.D was the highlight for sure. Bistro Duo.D more than lived up to... My wife and I were looking for a place to eat tonight tonight to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. We found this place from Tripadvidor and agree with the comments. The food was wonderful!

This place has amazing food and a really nice ambiance. It has a good variety of French dishes worth trying. The service was very good and the prices were reasonable. Try it and you won't regret it.

This is a wonderful restaurant. Beautiful food and friendly people. The escargot and the duck were both excellent. Do not miss this one. I would make a reservation.

We chose this restaurant based on the reviews we read on tripadvisor. Price range is listed as $15 to $20 which would be more accurate if it stated $40 to $50 if you have a couple of glasses of wine. Service was excellent. No feeling of being rushed in order to turn the table. Excellent presentation of food. Everyone's tastes... More

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Bistro Duo D. The menu is small but everyone should be able to find something to their liking. We both had the French onion soup. It was superb. I had the steak frite. The steak was tender, very flavourful and was cooked perfectly. My husband ordered the steak tartar. He enjoyed... More
