What a local GEM!!! As soon as we walked thru the door, felt the warm welcome by the wife of the owner. The restaurant is two people operated with excellent efficiency. Very simple but selective menu. We ordered 4 appetizers, from Escargots A L'ail (fantastic garlic pesto butter) , Foie Gras Au Torchon , Salade D'asperges Et Mozzarina Frais to... More

The entire experience at Bistro Duo.D was wonderful beginning to end. Flavors were beautifully balanced and could be described as delicate. We had coconut curry cod (amazing frothy sauce) and steak frittes (beautiful cut of meat cooked perfectly) for main courses. The french onion soup is lovely and rich. Smoked salmon app was very tasty. Creme brulee was perfectly carmelized... More

We decided to have a late dinner and wanted traditional french and after reading the reviews on tripadvisor decided to check out Bistro Duo.D. We were lucky with the weather and got to enjoy our dinner on the lively patio. Service was quick and very attentive. The food was simple but delicious. Typical bistro menu. The fois gras was nice,... More

To repeat, brilliant. We were there in April (while on an annual business trip) and found the entire evening a delight...and a marvelous change from the "on-the-beaten" path restaurants in town. The area is a bit sketchy, but nothing to worry about and is easily forgotten once in the warm and welcoming bistro. From the greeting at the door to... More

To get to this place we had to went through an ugly block or two, however the first impression when we entered the restaurant was great. The vibe was very similar to what we have experienced in Europe; I could not shake off the feeling of similarity with what I have seen in Spain. The service was great, despite a... More

Very intimate and if you can get a seat, well worth the evening stay. All tables seem to be pre-reserved. Bring good friends because you will stay for hours lingering over traditional style courses. Even though menu is a la carte, little courses appeared intermingled between our orders. Owner is very friendly. Smoked Salmon appetizer to die for. Duck was... More

for a husband and wife team to almost double handed make this such a memorable experience. Classic French dishes on a small, exciting menu that really delivers. Great, friendly service, ambiance and location. Completely deserves its high ranking - a great family evening.

We arrived a little early due to the weather and discovered we were the only people there but there were no concerns about seating us. The owners are very friendly and we had a great time practicing our French with the host. We got a great little table by the window. Started with the onion soup and the smoked salmon.... More

Get off at the station Lucien-L'Allier on the orange line. Head for the exit to the street with the same name. You may be disoriented at this point. You go south, down the hill. In five minutes the street ends in a tee, but you can quickly find the pedestrian pathway that bisects the row of apartment buildings allowing you... More
