They were excellent, though some flavors a bit too sweet. Large selection of interesting flavors. They also varied in texture more than macarons typically do. That being said, they were not as expensive as I am used to for macarons (a box of 10 was $15, whereas in NYC at Laduree it's almost double this).

We were referred to Point G by a Montreal local, who told us these were the best macarons she had ever had. And she was absolutely right. It's about a 10 minute walk from the closest metro stop, and totally worth the trip. We got 20 macarons for $28 - which were packed in a plastic container and a box,... More

Selection was big, and we personally tried about ten different flavors. The store is all about macaroons, and that is what we were looking for. I did not care for boxes the macaroons were packed. They looked cheep. I do not care for the name of the store either. It looks more like sex shop from outside, than a pastry... More

Super fun, colourful little dessert shop, with the best-tasting macaroons. So many flavours to choose from, you won't be disappointed. A little pricey if you buy many, but don't let this stop you!

Great macarons, the chocolate one is to die for. 6 units for 10 dollars. It´s not cheap but they are really high quality so is worth it.

Great variety, fair price, friendly staff, easy to locate. What more could you ask for when travelling?

We were in Plateau Mont Royale for an extended weekend. I believe we stopped in every day! The macaroons were fantastic! They were pricey but worth every bite. Think exquisite chocolates or fine wine :) Our favorites were salted caramel and lime basil. Enjoy!

I never made it to the Point G storefront, but I did purchase their excellent macrons twice while i was in town - once at a small gelato shop in Vieux Montreal and again at a stand at the market Jean Talon. I brought a six back home with me and was sorry i did not buy more. Yum.

I make a special stop at Point G each time I'm in Montreal. Flavors are unique and with many dimensions, filling is jam-like with perfect texture, biscuit is crunchy but soft. Just perfect! Best flavors are Salted Caramel, Lavender, Raspberry Rosemary, Lime Basil... I mean all of them are good! I searched all over Toronto and found nothing that came... More

Macarons for lovers must ,make their way to 1266 Mont-Royal Est. This is the real deal. 'Fine eveloppe croustillante ~ une forme ronde, legerement rondee et un coeur moelleux.' Their words, not mine, but let me tell you.. The product lives up to it. Try the following not so conventional parfums and be surprised: lime-basilic lavende bluet vanille de madagascar... More
