Breakfast: Eggs perfection. Bacon killed. Potatoes the tuberous equivalent of refried beans. Service cheerful. I guess that, in the kitchen, they have good days and not so good days. Incidentally, they have interesting microbrewery beers on the menu including 'Shawinigan Handshake'. You have to be at least Canadian and preferably from Quebec to understand this one!

Since Les Follies was close to my apartment rental and since they had outdoor seating, I ate three meals here during my week in Montreal. Each was quite good (salads and sandwich) and reasonably priced, service was very nice and friendly.

Standard brunch fare with a nice setting. They cut a few corners eg ketchup in a sachet and frozen berries in my ice tea. Food is good and filling. Not out of this world, but I do keep going back...

Les Folies .... Always my favovorite when I visit Montreal which is quite often !! Menu is simple and lots to choose from ... crowd is non-pretentious and service is quick given they are busy. Small patio outside as the weather gets warmer and live street music playing around the corner is always charming -

Right on the doorstep of the Mont-Royal metro station, this place as a nice terrasse in front. We went there around 8pm and it was quite busy. Service was fast and our burgers where great. Fries are a must, sangria also. Music by the DJ was amazing. Really great place.

The outdoor terrace was always packed when we went by, so we figured this would be a good place for brunch. Since it was raining, we ate inside, but it was cozy and comfortable. Substantial portions of classic breakfast foods, including Eggs Benedict; bacon, potatotes, eggs and toast; and something called La Folie which includes a whole bunch of breakfast... More

Went there this morning; found a piece of eggshell in my pancake, and the grapefruit slice was full of white dots... I gently make a comment: I'm told "it happens" (??). At the end, the waitress and the boss are both telling me that it's normal... No excuses, and the full bill!!
