Pleasant Surprise

I am meat eater, but this place was very pleasant surprise. Discovery plate for appetizer and tacos as a main dish delivered a lot of flavour and great gourmet experience. And the chlorophyll waster was also awesome.

Never knew raw food could taste so good. Absolutely delicious meals. Decadent desserts. Tiny and unpretentious venue on Rachel . Check out the new more spacious one on St Viateur.

Tiny place with great menu of delicious and filling food. Good service in both French and English. A little pricey, quite awkward to get to, because of road construction and several one way streets going in the same direction. Come at it from the north end and you should be fine.

As a raw foodist I can honestly say this is my all time favorite restaurant. I've tried so much vegan fare and this place is the best. I appreciate how things taste like the real thing. Like the BLT and tuna wraps. This place is just phenomenal.

I've been a vegetarian for years, but never had food this wonderful. Since going to your restaurant about a year ago I have changed the way I eat. I bought your cookbook that day. The food is life affirming.

This was a great experience. Good was great, atmosphere was great. I'm not vegetarian at all and I still appreciated the food!! Beware the vegetable drinks.. they are surprising.

The restaurant was right around the corner from the art museum. We went for lunch and ate outside. I had a temph sandwich and my husband had a spinch crepe and son had a breakfast burrito. The food was fresh and the sauces and flavors were exciting. The fruit salad had fresh mint. My highlight was a chai latte with... More

Having been vegetarian for a long time I have been to many vegan and vegetarian restaurants. I have to say the prices are totally unreasonable. A BLT with a small salad, and a tip for $22? I thought the food was fine, but I wasn't overly impressed with it overall.

We only had a short time for dinner here and the staff were very accommodating... making suggestions on food that would be ready quickly. Great service! Food was an adventure too.... how could you NOT get the OM burger!???? :)

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
