Portions are huge, food is good and it wasn't overpriced. This restaurant, however, was nice and clean, very modern looking. The prices may have been slightly more expensive than other restaurants in the area, but I was willing to pay the extra couple of dollars for a restaurant that looked sanitary.

Price was very reasonable. Food was not bad. Good place in Montreal Chinatown for a quick lunch, snack or dinner.

We went to get some Chinese pastries and notice this restaurant attached. Wife wanted to have some HK style food so we went in. The milk tea was OK, but the noodles I ordered (singapore fried vermicelli) was tasteless. How they managed to get something colorful yet tasteless is beyond me. Anyways, a little bit of salt would have helped.... More

We were walking around Montreal's Chinatown and decided to stop by this place. The place offers a Hong Kong style fast food experience. Unfortunately, the food was not all that great. The steak noodle soup I had a strange marinade for the meat that made it feel virtually tasteless. The shrimp wonton noodle soup my sister ordered was also very... More

Portions are huge, food is good, staff was friendly. I had a mango salad thinking it would be typical "dinner salad" starter portion. It could have been an entire meal if I had finished it. Also had a fried tofu appetizer, spicy and interesting, and some kind of a Hong-Kong style noodle thingy with seafood and a noodle that I... More

We were exploring Chinatown and we choosen this restaurant because it had a nice decoration in restaurant window. Nice music and stylish interior, good location, reasonable price, kind and attentive service, great choice of meals, lunch menu include soup and main course, water and green jasmine tea for + 1$...all of these are relatively strong arguments why to try this... We're on our family vacation to Montreal and walked to Chinatown. We liked the variety on the menu so we walked in. The restaurant was packed (good sign!). We were hungry so we ordered the following to try: Sizzle Chicken dish, Pad Thai Chicken, Vegetable stir fry, and spaghetti. All of the first three dishes were great. Spaghetti was bad.... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Bakeries, markets, restaurants, and buffets crowd the brightly graffitied streets of Chinatown, the city's aromatic destination for pan-Asian cuisine. Distinguished at its entry points by towering vermillion paifang gates, the compact neighborhood acts as a focal point for the Chinese community, hectic with educational facilities, cultural centers, acupuncturists, and foreign-language newspapers. Especially vibrant in the warmer months, when the sweet smell of dragon beard candy along the pedestrian walks of Rue de la Gauchetière signal the beginning of the outdoor street fair season, Chinatown is a treasure hunter's dream, with enough knickknack and curiosity shops to tempt even the pickiest shoppers. The convivial vibe picks up after dark, when the area's active nightlife offers evening crowds their choice of drink, dance, and midnight snacks of pho or oysters. Chinatown's mix of new and old, with herbal remedies being sold alongside pop-culture DVDs, gives the area its own animated brand of moxie.
