This fabulous Creperie in Old Montreal, has a great, welcoming staff, comfortable setting, and a magnificent choice of crepes that will leave your taste buds tingling with delight. The dessert crepe Suzette is the best way to end your meal. Wait staff will give you as much time as you want to savor the food. In a busy, tourist-filled part... More

We walked past Chez Suzette on Friday night, and I knew where I wanted to go for breakfast on Sunday morning! Very charming space on Rue St Paul, deceivingly large: more and more space upstairs. I had the crepes Quebecois, stuffed with ham and Swiss, topped with Quebec maple syrup. Very filling, very good. My wife had a quiche and... More

Im not sure what to say as the reviews here are good but we just didn't have a good experience. The location is nice and the staff was friendly but the food was not that good. Maybe we caught them on a bad day. The french onion soup reminded me of something Id get at UNOs back home.

This crepe place in Old Montreal is pretty good. They have a nice variety to chose from. Though the food is not out of this world, the ambiance is nice. Have a seat in the patio and watch the city go by as you chomp on a crepe!

Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighborhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic center of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its center, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theater.
