Good. Casual fare

Meet both of needs. I felt like fondue and my partner, she felt like a crepe. They do serve wine but only charge $5 above their cost. Great location and excellent service.

Unfortunately this place did not rank well when we went. The crepes were pre-made which we were not expecting and the apples were brown. And don't bother with the $5 smoothies, it's also pre-made with ice. Good place if you have a large family with kids and need to please everyone fast in the morning, but for two people who... More

On a family visit, we all liked this place. The crepes and other dishes we ordered were quite good. In general, the portion size is modest so budget accordingly.

Perfect service, lovely tables at the windows, 3 floors of seating, recommendations spot on, quick service, nicely presented, and delicious food! Come for any time of day; you will not leave dissatisfied. Quiche, drinks, and desserts all wonderful. Don't pass by while you shop St. Paul street.

Lunch here is just nice. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Crepes are good size and delicious. The appetizers are just great. This is a place to come back.

We stumbled upon this place in Old Montreal as our tummies were starting to rumble. It was noon but we had skipped breakfast so this seemed appropriate to visit. The restaurant is split over 3 floors and it is an interesting view to see the old old buildings outside as you eat. The food was excellent and service times were... More

After enjoying dinner at a nearby restaurants, we decided to celebrate our last night in Montreal with crepes in Old Montreal. Found this place. I guess because we had kids we were automatically relegated to the top floor of the restaurant which had pretty crappy atmosphere. The waiter was extremely nice, and I hate to say anything negative about him,... More

Tried it one night for dessert and we loved the crepes and received excellent service. We went back a couple of nights later and the dinner crepes were equally good, but the service was very slow. Also tried the fondues and they were a highlight of our visit to Old Montreal.

In a tourist area and caters to tourists, but not a "tourist trap". The crepes were very good and we enjoyed our meal here. We all had savory-style crepes (technically "galettes" to some).

Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighborhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic center of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its center, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theater.
