When we visit in Montreal, this is where I go for our morning croissants. Usually I can't resist and also get the petit pain au chocolat. The only other way to find croissants as good as this you have to go to France.

Based on the good reviews on tripadvisor and the fact that it is right around the corner from my place, I decided to check out the Patisserie for a fix of my much loved croissants. Having just moved from Paris I am a tough critic. Upon entering the Patisserie I was taken to Paris in the sense of feeling like... More

Just the thing for a January day in Montreal. Found this place last year on our annual Montreal trip and had to go back this year! If you are lucky you can grab a seat and watch the bakers in the back as you enjoy your hot chocolate and ham and cheese croissant. No wonder everything tastes so good -... More

You can smell the Patisserie from a block away. We went to Montreal for lunch because of the fabulous restaurants. Some of the best are found the Plateau area of Montreal. We ate at a wonderful Moroccan restaurant but it didn't have a great dessert menu. We decided to go for a walk to find a place for coffee and... More

The most delicious croissants, chocolatines, and almondines around! Their homemade soup was also very tasty. Looking forward to trying some more items on my next visit...

We lived on the plateau for 2 months and as we're big fan of Brittany and their famous Kouign Amann (we used to eat loads of them on holidays and always try different places) we absolutely wanted to buy some there. Unfortunately, what they offer cannot be compared to the "real thing". The layers of the cake are too thick,... More

Based on a Fodor's review naming this spot as the best croissant in Montreal, we tried it for breakfast and couldn't agree more. The sight and smell in this tiny bakery is so absolutely pleasing - I felt like I was in a far away land eating at one of the three itty bitty tables while at times the line... More

We had lunch there, and enjoyed some carrot and squash soup, quiche, and of course, their famous almond croissants! There were 4 small tables. Everything was so good! We brought a big bag of their goodies back home to the States.
