went here with wife & daughter one December morning-I loved it for a couple reasons-I loved it cause it was the real deal-no pretense-kind of a hole in the wall storefront but behind the cash register and display cases you got to see a wide open space with professionals making all kinds of baked goods-but these were people who seemed... We took home kouign amann which had a deep flavor beyond sweet and buttery. Our son ordered a cranberry tart. Pastry crust hit a 10 out of... More

Perhaps the best croissant in Montreal, or in North America-- flawless. I've been a daily regular at this place each time I am in Montreal, and have tasted many items. Everything I have ever had is nothing less than magnificent!! The prices are great, quality is flawless, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. If I lived in Montreal,... More

best croissant in town. I think they might be even better than the ones I had in Paris. Very small bakery. Only 3 tables. But their croissants are real good

We have one hard and fast rule when we travel: never eat at the same place twice. With all the foodie research we do, there are usually just too many places to try to waste dining opportunities by repeating, even if it's just for a snack. Well, we broke that rule for Patisserie Kouign Amann. While their croissants are excellent,... More

I got there late in the day, just for a snack, and there was still a long line out the door. I waited and was rewarded with a piece of Kouign Amann that was heavenly. I wanted to wait to eat it, but found myself nibbling it on my way back to the Metro. It was gone before I got... More

This wonderful hole-in-the-wall patisserie, located in Mont Royal is a must do! We ate breakfast here two weekday mornings & there was a steady stream of locals during each visit. We tried a variety of pastries, including a croissant, raspberry tart, chocolate filled pastry, cinnamon & raisin pastry, chocolate brownie & their signature Kouign-Amann. All were very delicious & the... More
