Surprise amuse-bouche to start, excellent service and a nice relaxed (not snobby) atmosphere. BYOW to such a great place is a bonus. We had the gazpacho, foie gras creme-brulee, bison plate and horse plate, panacotta dessert. Perfect portions. Beautiful yet not fussy presentations. Meats cooked perfectly. Very enjoyable! Will be back and tell others.

I have eaten in many restaurants throughout the world, and when it comes to horse and wild game like bison and elk - this restaurant is one of the best! It would rival any old world restaurant. The combination of flavors are delicate yet sophisticated. It was a wonderful meal served by a wonderful waiter. What they do they do... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Grenadine. Was drawn to the restaurant for its menu and the fact you can bring your own wine. Great service and great food. Main Course come with an appetizer. Love the cozy atmosphere. Can't wait to go back on my next trip to Montreal. Reservations are highly recommended.

We had a family dinner here over the labour day weekend. The place was very cramped and quite noisy and we were surprised that there was only a rotating fan - no air cond - and that make an otherwise great dinner less enjoyable and more hurried. It was a humid day and we just wanted to get out of... More

Quaint little restaurant. Seats no more than 30. Service was really great - English or French - your choice. Kitchen is very small but he really makes it work. A little disappointed with the shrimp starter. Very tiny shrimp. Soup was delicious. My wife had the duck confit and I had the piglet. Bothe served hot and just right with... More

We were celebrating our 3 years anniversary and picked out this restaurant based on the reviews online. The food was amazing, the service very attentive and charming. My wife and I ate here recently to celebrate our anniversary. We chose the 5 course surprise menu and we were served some great food. Everything was delicious and creative. Being able to bring our own wine was a big plus for us. Highly recommended.

We decided to spring for an authentic French meal. After much research on various sites, we decided on Grenadine. The atmosphere was fabulous, the waitstaff was very nice and enthusiastic, and the food was the best ever. We all three chose the 5-course tasting menu, and our waitress brought each of us different appetizers, so in all we each tried... More

We found it through trip advisor. Went with my wife and the place was very nice, different but nice. The food was very good and with an excellent price/quality rapport. The prices for main dishes were in the range 24/32 range but each main dish included either a substantial soup (a fish soup, that was excellent and a vegetable soup)... More

We were disappointed in several meals on this trip to Montreal, but Grenadine was most definitely not one of them. We opted for the 5-course tasting menu, and everything was absolutely terrific. Our waitress was friendly and immediately asked whether we preferred ordering in French or English (she was fluent in both), and she guided us through a delicious evening.... More
