We decided to spring for an authentic French meal. After much research on various sites, we decided on Grenadine. The atmosphere was fabulous, the waitstaff was very nice and enthusiastic, and the food was the best ever. We all three chose the 5-course tasting menu, and our waitress brought each of us different appetizers, so in all we each tried... More

We found it through trip advisor. Went with my wife and the place was very nice, different but nice. The food was very good and with an excellent price/quality rapport. The prices for main dishes were in the range 24/32 range but each main dish included either a substantial soup (a fish soup, that was excellent and a vegetable soup)... More

We were disappointed in several meals on this trip to Montreal, but Grenadine was most definitely not one of them. We opted for the 5-course tasting menu, and everything was absolutely terrific. Our waitress was friendly and immediately asked whether we preferred ordering in French or English (she was fluent in both), and she guided us through a delicious evening.... More

Every seat was taken when we dined, we made reservations apparently just in time. It was loud and almost every conversation was in French, almost all locals. When you can find a place in a city full of tourists that is mostly full of locals, you feel good about your choice and Grenadine did not disappoint. We had schnitzel and... More

We had the 55$ per person surprise dinner with 2 appetizers, salad, two main courses, veggies, and desert. It was wonderful. They don't have a bar, bring your own wine. Food was beautiful, original, and darn tasty.

This was our fourth time eating at Grenadine and as always, it did not disappoint; in fact, it rivalled our very first visit there for quality and service - outstanding. Grenadine is fairly small, seating about 25-30 people, but the two chefs (one who is the owner, who is always there -- as it should be, and a very wonderful... More

Every year I go to the Grand Prix in MTL, and for 3 years have eaten at this gem on the day of arrival. The staff is amazing, the first year we went, our flight had been delayed, putting us behind schedule and moving slower than normal. THe folks at Grenadine called us when we landed to make sure we... After walking from our hotel up St. Denis, passing restaurant after restaurant filled with happy people eating plenty of good - though typical - fare on this pretty spring evening, we knew when we walked in that something else awaited us at Grenadine... and we were 100% correct. This inventive, rich, and inviting menu lures you in with promises for... More

Found this place on Trip Advisor and am so glad we went. It`s a small place, but big on taste. We tried the tasting menu and were quite happy we did. The food was fresh and flavourful, and presented beautifully. It is BYOB, but do try the non-alcoholic cider. We`ll definitely will be back next time we`re in Montreal.

A nice and small restaurant where you can bring your own wine with a very good and creative food. The chef is actually the owner of the restaurant who manage in same time the kitchen and the restaurant. Service was good but our two plates were chipped!!!
