Consistently Good

This is our second visit to this restaurant, last one 5 years ago. Nothing has changed. Excellent Asian food, sushi, sashimi and a modern, clean setting. The restaurant is upscale modern decor, with floor to ceiling doors that open to the street with outdoor seating. Waitstaff friendly and helpful... read more

Don't bother with this crap and learn why. Hear why service here is despicable. Went to eat for lunch at this restaurant. Lunch menu didn't have to much options and decided to try a pad thai (16$). First the appetizer was quite small and disappointing. I got a small bowl of salad that was tiny, so tiny i could recount... More

My friend and I chose to meet for lunch at the outside terrace. We ordered the lunch menu: marinated beef and chicken pad thai. The service was quick and friendly. We both enjoyed our lunch outing.

Nice food, generous plates including a good selection of sushis for those looking for sushis. Service was ok but a bit slow at the beginning as if we were forgotten. After the first course everything came back ok.

My husband and I went for dinner at Aziatik last night and were blown away by the wonderful flavors in every dish! The restaurant is classy, comfortable and with a trendy atmosphere. The staff is superb and extremely attentive. The chef got my compliments time and time again, as the courses kept coming! They were perfectly displayed, plentiful and served... More

We happened upon this restaurant and quite frankly did not expect much beyond a touristy Asian restaurant. We were very pleasantly surprised. The food was really excellent (including a duck that was out of this world), the prices reasonable and the service more than competent. The only negative, which made us laugh, was when we asked the server to divide... More

What saves this place is probably the décor, very nice ambiance and the wine list that is surprisingly long and affordable which is rather rare for an Asian restaurant in montreal (but some of the wines on the list are not available...). Service is at best approximative (as well as the food description on the menu), and frankly, the food... More

This restaurant has the same problem that all other restaurants close to the Old Port, they trust too much on their location and sometimes they forget to give good service. This was exactly the case when I had dinner at this place, it is conveniently located, the restaurant itself is nice, the quality of the food is very acceptable, but... More

We live in the neighborhood & have been to this restaurant 3 or 4 times because we love the food, but the ambiance leaves something to be desired. Each time we found the music to be really loud with a repetitively annoying beat - fine for a bar scene - but when you include the bar where people are dining... More

My husband picked this restaurant for my birthday, just before Christmas. When we arrived we the place was almost empty and we were a little concerned but e tables filled up later on. Service was interesting....our server was a bit of a character but no complaints. He was pleasant and efficient enough even if he didn't appear to agree with... More

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighborhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
