We came here two days in a row after sipping on their chocolatey coffee (all coffee in Montreal seems chocolatey but this stuff is special) and munching on their panini with poached egg, sriracha and a few other things like cheesy goodness and love and magic. The fresh squeezed orange juice cuts the fat of the sandwhich and be sure... More

We got in just in time. The place absolutely packed out. The breakfast panini. We had real espresso full of flavor. The atmosphere was cozy and smart.

Dined here twice. Once for delicious breakfast & the other time for lunch. Every item on menu is just fabulous & will not disappoint you. So worth waiting for, if line is long. Don't shy from long 'community tables', either. Atmosphere/energy level very easy-going. We did not feel pushed to order, or to leave. Awesome experience. Totally understand the rating... More

Olive & Gourmando was recommended by a friend and didn't disappoint either of the times we stopped for breakfast on a Saturday morning: excellent pastries, coffee and freshly made fruit salad. It's a busy, popular spot, filled with locals and tourists (including us), francophones and English speakers. Fast and friendly service, great food -- we'll be back.

Enjoyed excellent lunch on a Friday. Food, service and bustling atmosphere well worth the wait. Goat cheese and Cubain pain is we're excellent. Try the green tea iced tea!

Great place when you want something light to eat that is delicious at an odd hour (like lunch at 4pm). Fresh and sumptuous baked good and coffee for breakfast.

Love the atmosphere of the restaurant. Staffs are friendly and efficient. Deco is hip, rusty and warm. Although it doesn't have lots of tables, it does have one big one to share which gives a deli feel. we hadd a cajun chicken and another grilled chicken sandwiches, which were both tasty and fresh. With all the restaurants raising prices, prices... More

Oh my word, this cafe patisserie was FANTASTIC. So glad we stopped here for breakfast on our last morning in Montreal. Our order (and also my recommendation) is their chocolate brioche, egg on face sandwich, almond croissant, and scone!!! Be forewarned, coffee refills will cost you. But lovely, sunny quaint cafe in the city! Missing it so much.
