Fresh food, everything prepared on site. They change most of the menu pretty much every month and design new receipes that are every time the tastyest and surprising. Make sure not to miss their brownies made out of pure chocolate. Great coffee maker too. It is always crowded. So so so my favorite restaurant in Montreal!

Stumbled across this place following a long walk one day. It was busy but we got seated straight away. The food was great. Really healthy and filling. And they served bottles (not cans) of red stripe. A real gem of a place for brunch and lunch. So good we came back the following day.

My friend brought me here and its awesome! Everything was great. The seating is weird and its cramped. I was confused to how ordering worked, but everything i got was delicious.

I only came for a coffee and croissant but the food I saw on other peoples plates looked great. Will have to go there again next time I'm in Montreal. Staff very helpful too.

The baked goods are amazing - the staff was friendly - I would have eaten there every morning of our visit if they were open

Enjoyed a late breakfast with my wife. Very friendly staff, awesome pastries and breakfast sammys and artfully created coffee. The place has a nice vibe, like the employees actually like being there. Best breakfast I had in Montreal.

With bright morning sun lightening up the wooden decor, what a great start of the day in Old Montreal. The "egg in the face" was not the egg on toast that I expected, but turned out to be the best savoury sandwich I have ever had! Really. Coffee is great too. All pastry goods and cakes look fantastic. What a great little cafe for breakfast! Exquisite baked goods. The coffee is amazing. Prices are pretty high, but so is the quality. The menu isn't super deep, but since the food is so good you might not care. The caesar salad includes kale, and was very tasty. Also--lots of English spoken here.

As far as food on the go in Old Montreal is concerned, O&G is hard to beat. Its only competitor is probably Titanic, located a block and a half away. But O&G has the edge, as demonstrated by the constant crowds that overflow into the streets on a daily basis. Expect a line, but the sandwiches are worth it.

Great food, great atmosphere, great prices. The sandwiches are soooo good. Loved this place and would recommend to everyone. Just wish it was open Sundays and Mondays so that I could have had it everyday.
