Visited this restaurant on a reasonably busy night, the restaurant being around 80% seated when we arrived. Service from arrival to leaving was excellent. The staff and kitchen anticipated the dinner experience my friend and I were looking for, adjusting portions and presentation of several dishes to allow us to sample a number of menu items, and providing what felt... As we sat having dinner ar Vertige, we were surprised by the very warm greetings several other parties received as they arrived. Big hugs from the waiters. In any place, you get a smile when you arrive. But this was different. We saw waiters come up to the front of the restaurant for more than one arriving group. Hugs all... More

This was a delight find. We saw the reviews on trip advisor and thought let's give it a try. Overall it was an enjoyable experience. We started off with the scallops and they were tiny and a tad over cooked but the sauce made up for it. I had the fillet mignon and my wife had the sirloin. We ordered... More

My husband and I dined here on our last night in a Montreal. We started with escargot and salad as well as a bottle of French white wine. Along with bread, this was a great way to begin our dining experience. I ordered beef tartare and my husband got Sirloin steak. The food was delicious!! This restaurant offers tapas on... More

High level cuisine in the plateau area of montreal definitely worth checking out. Subtle and clever interpretations of French classics with old colony influences thrown in for good measure love it. We began with an amuse bouche of cod and potatoe fritter, app was fois gras seared with peaches on puff pastry,my wife had the duck confit spring roll.for mains we... More

Great area, great owners and amazing food! We were very impressed with Vertige and its intimate setting. The staff, decor and food was beyond our expectations. For appetizer I had the beef carpaccio, the seeds drizzled on top really made it stand out. I never would have thought they'd go so well together. My fiancee had the mushroom tartelette which...
