Fine Italian dining in a charming 115-year old house that was converted into a restaurant. Intimate dining with personal service and great food! There is an outdoor patio with a fontaine and gazebo decorated with a lot of plants and flowers. Private dining rooms are also available. Extensive wine cellar with the best Italian wines. Trying is adopting.

Excellent Cuisine !!!

This hidden gem is situated in the old town of Ste-Rose (beautiful area). Price: Might be a little pricy, but it is fair( for the quality) and very worth it. Food: The food is most definitely amazing and tasteful. For our family gathering, we had a four course meal including an antipasto plate... read more

First time but not the last time. We were 8 people and we sat in the gazebo on the terrace in the back. Very nice surrounding, music and flowers. Some had the soup, some had the salad and we had the salmon tartar. All were excellent. Main courses were veal with a fig reduction, veal shank and fasoletti. Everyone enjoyed... More

Was hoping to have found a new romantic location for our anniversary dinner, but was disappointed. The place was noisy and far from intimate (unless you consider the proximity with the other tables and their conversations as intimate). The appetizer was excellent, the salad was dressed perfectly, but both our main courses left us unimpressed. The langoustini, although a generous... More

This is consistently the best Italian restaurant I have tried. The prices are relatively high but you get what you pay for. The dining room is very comfortable and the service very professional. Highly recommend.

I am a regular at this restaurant for the past 5 years. The ''Table D' Hote '' menu offers a very good variety. The food is good and the service friendly. One of the nicest feature is its terrace, it has a limited number of tables so reservations are recommended.

Went there with my wife and friends for our anniversary. Sat in the outdoor terrace which is beautiful. The place to be on a summer night. We had an authentic Italian meal which was very tasty and delicious. The presentation was also very nice. The service is exceptional with friendly staff. Overall I highly recommend it for those special occasions.

Before you make a reservation at Amato, be warned, it is expensive! But is it worth it? Yes, every penny. I dined here with my family for my birthday. Exceptional evening on many fronts. First, the Caesar salad is, according to my son who is Caesar fan, by far the best he has ever eaten. It is prepared right at... More

Real Italian food with waiters speaking Italian, classy furniture, cozy ambiance, tasty fancy food...and delicious Italian deserts. It has never let me down so far!
